"This embattled shore, portal of freedom, is forever hallowed by the ideals, the valor, and the sacrifice of our fellow countrymen."

A few years ago I was able to visit Normandy while backpacking through Europe.
Words like humbling, honored, and proud do not even begin to properly describe the emotions that overcame me when I realized that I was walking the very same beach that THOUSANDS of men died on.

I visited the D-Day Museum, Juno Beach, Omaha Beach, and the Normandy American Cemetery, where over 9,000 soldiers have been laid to rest so that we can call ourselves free. It was easily one of the most profound and impactful moments in my life not only as a human being, but as an American. I am so thankful to have the rare opportunity to step foot on the same ground as some of the bravest men and women who ever lived. I am thankful for the country God placed me in, the life that I'm able to live because of the sacrifice of others, and the freedom to express that thankfulness on behalf of those who never got to be thanked for their service.

To all who have served in our military and sacrificed so much to keep us free and safe, thank you. Your service, bravery, courage, and faithfulness deserves to be honored and remembered every day 🇺🇸

🌞🌻 SUMMER IS HERE! 🌻🌞

May has zoomed by and has been chalked-full of events, school events & parties, family celebrations, and swimming.

It's already SO hot here in PHX so we're soaking up (get it??? 😏) our first summer with a pool!

June is full of camping, more family celebrations, movie marathons, more swimming, and hopefully minimal meltdowns (from all of us 🤣).

I hope the beginning of your summer has been enjoyable so far.

Cheers,
Amanda

This weekend is generally supposed to be full of celebrating but instead it can be filled with difficult feelings like grief, sorrow, resentment, loneliness, & anxiety. Mother’s Day is really, really, REALLY hard for some of us.

To anyone who feels any sort of weight in your heart on this weekend, first of all, I am so sorry. It’s not supposed to be this way. Please please PLEASE know that you are deeply loved & you are not alone.

And we praise God for you; the warriors, the ones who finally let the tears flow after the kids have fallen asleep, the ones who have been covered in every sort of bodily fluid at all hours of the night and day, the ones that stand beside gravesides on this day, the ones who hope & wish & pray for things to be different, the ones that relentlessly pray for that pregnancy test to be positive every single month; you are seen.

Thank you for fighting for your family, for your kids, for your future, for your faith, & for yourself. Please know that you are worthy of love, your tears & smiles are counted, & you are irreplaceable. Your worth & identity are not dependent upon your parental or marital status, no matter what day it is.

To the women who inspire us every day, the ones who unknowingly encourage us to be brave, the ones who work tirelessly just to put food on the table, the ones who relentlessly fight for what you believe in: thank you for who you are & all that you do for the people around you.

Above all, please remember that you are not alone. Ever.
♥️ 🌹 ❤️

An easily-overlooked aspect of engaging with your audience is the importance of responding to their comments, DMs, and story reactions in a timely manner.

Not only does it build a positive repertoire with your audience, it will increase your engagement, which enhances your social media footprint, raising the probability of the algorithm recommending your content to like-minded followers.

It's really a win-win. Your audience gets interaction and so do you!

🤷🏻‍♀️ Where did April go? 🤷🏻‍♀️

April has been wonderful. Lots of sunshine, spending time outside, and enjoying beautiful weather (except that we're already in the high 90's here 🥵). I'm a little sad it's already over but also looking forward to all the fun summer things that May will bring.

May is always SUUUUUPER busy for us. This year we have 2 graduations, Mother's Day, vacation, a birthday, and Memorial Day within 2 weeks of each other!

That's why I'm trying to get all my content prepped for May ahead of time. I know it's going to be crazy but I also want to make sure I'm present for my family and clients. Hopefully these content ideas are helpful for you, just in case your May schedule looks like mine.

Cheers,
Amanda

🙌💰Free resources??? YES, PLEASE! 💰🙌

, just genuinely use these websites ALL the time.

I use and every day, multiple times a day. Using both of these tools consistently improve my vocabulary ➡️ which improves my confidence ➡️ so I write with authority ➡️ which makes writing feel easier ➡️ so I want to write more often ➡️ which makes my job (as a writer) so much more enjoyable.

I use Wordcounter.net pretty much every time before I post something to social media. I make sure I'm within the character limit for all the social media platforms and I monitor how long it will take the audience to read it. This affects how many people will see it ➡️ which makes my social media footprint larger ➡️ which leads to (potential) clients.

I know there may be fancier, more integrated tools out there, but these are the ones that have worked for me for years!

What writing tools or programs do you use?

I love what I do. I've never been able to say that in any other job I've had.

Here's why I love what I do:

✨I get to be creative.
Creativity is a huge outlet for me. Some people lift weights when they get stressed, some go for a run, I like to create. It helps take my mind off the chaos and I love the idea of creating something from scratch that will help other people succeed.

✨I love helping people.
I'm a very methodical and intentional person, so everything I do has a certain reasoning. As a result, it is SUPER important to me that my job has some sort of purpose outside of paying the bills. The past jobs that I've had have always been just to pay the bills; graduating in the throes of the Great Recession forces you to take whatever job you can get. This time, I've had the luxury of choosing to do this work because I've personally seen how much it matters to those who need it.

✨I can stay home with my kids.
This is huge for me. My husband is also self-employed and works non-conventional hours, so if I was going to go back to work, it needed to be something with a lot of flexibility. In this job, I get to take my kids to school, pick them up, go on their field trips, AND also do something that's fulfilling for me (which helps me be a better mom)!

What's your favorite thing about your job (even if you don't like your job 🤣)? Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for letting me do what I love and supporting me along the way. I can't wait to do the same for you 🤍

Cheers,
Amanda

Want to set up a ✨SUCCESSFUL✨ social media strategy? I got you! 👊

Step 1: Establish what your goals are. Ask yourself:
✨WHAT is the purpose of my brand/company?
✨WHO am I serving? How old are they? What are their interests?
✨HOW can I solve my audience's problem(s)?
✨WHY is my service the best option?

Step 2: Brand consistency
Consistent colors, themes, fonts, and logos can:
✨Give you credibility and establish you as an expert in your field
✨Create connection and build trust with your audience
✨Promote the uniqueness of your brand and personality

Step 3: Quality connection
If you give your customers a personal and genuine experience, they are more likely to use your service (or recommend it to someone else) than if you become just another passive ad.
Quality over quantity. ✨ALWAYS✨..
Need help building your social media skills? I've got you covered!
Comment, "YES PLEASE!" or DM me so we can chat 🤍

Cheering for you,

👋 Hi friends! 👋

It's been a while since I've shown my face and, since some of you are new, I thought I'd say hello!

Hello!

I'm Amanda and I love what I do. I'm a mom of two toddlers (ages 4 & 5) and my journey into motherhood has been pretty intense. As a result, I decided I wanted to do something fun with my time once they were both in school. I'd been helping my self-employed friends with SMM for a few years and figured, "Why not do it for real?"

So here I am! 💁🏻‍♀️

Some fun facts about me:

✨I love taking naps. My husband is convinced that no one else can fall asleep as fast as I can during nap-time. Nighttime, though, is a whole 'nother story 🤣

✨I'm an (The Loyalist). You'll be hard pressed to find a more loyal, prepared overthinker out there. I'm handy to have in stressful situations and on camping trips (I pack EVERYTHING you could ever need).

✨I don't like peanut butter or chocolate. I know, I know 🤦🏻‍♀️
Honestly, I wish I at least liked one of them because it would make snacking so much easier. It turns out I have more of a sour/tart preference. Give me alllllll the sour gummy worms 😋

Now that you know a little bit about me, I'd love to get to know you! Comment "Hi!" or let me know some fun facts about yourself below. I can't wait to be friends!

Cheers,
Amanda

As the 2023 marches on, please remember that your health and well-being are worth protecting.

We can always find new clients but we don't get another body.

Taking care of yourself is the best thing you can do for you and your clients.

Be well,
Amanda

I don't know about you, but I'm having SUCH a hard time getting back into the swing of things after being off for so long. I'm trying to give myself grace as I slowly ease back into it but I also feel overwhelmed by everything on my to-do list.

I found these four tips to be helpful reminders as I strive to keep my health and boundaries in check, while also providing the best care for my clients.

Do you have any other tips on how to stay productive? Let me know! I need all the help I can get 😅

I hope you are able to look back on 2022 and be proud of how far you’ve come. If you don’t have anything to celebrate from the past year, just remember that you made it through every single day and THAT is DEFINITELY worth celebrating!

Wishing you a wonderful year, full of hope, peace, and rest.

I've never been much of a "New Year, New Me!" person, but I do like to start each year and month with some direction. Being intentional AND realistic are key in actually achieving goals.

28/12/2022

I've tried really hard to embrace this idea the last month that I've been off.

"'Tis the season to go slow."

Even though I'm not officially "back to work" yet, I thought someone else might need to be reminded of it, too.

Just because Christmas is technically over doesn't mean you have to dive in head-first to becoming a new person, meeting every single one of your goals, and keeping up with your idols.

It's okay to go at your own pace, to do what's healthy for you and your family. This month, it was the healthiest choice for me to completely pause all of my projects and spend time with my family while I focus on my health.

✨Remember: what's best for you is what's best for your clients. You can't support them if you're not taking care of yourself✨

I hope you found some sort of peace and rest in the holiday season, whatever that looks like for you.

Signing off again for a few more days before I ease myself back in to work. I hope you're able to do the same 🤍

I like to apply the Golden Rule to Social Media: treat others how you want to be treated.

If you want people to like, save, share, and comment on your content, you have to do the same to theirs.

The key is to be ✨genuine✨ about it.

Don't just go follow random people and comment on every single one of their posts just so you can get another follow. Not only is that deceiving to the people on the receiving end, it'll also mess up your algorithm, especially if you're doing it to random accounts that have nothing to do with your business or interests.

It's a sure-fire way to feel overwhelmed by your home page as soon as you log in, which means you won't be inspired or building authentic community online, which can lead to faster burnout, etc....

If you meet the audience where they're at and you're genuine about taking notice in their interests, it'll show in your content and customer care. AND they'll be more likely to use your services/recommend your products if they sense your authenticity and care...
What are ways you've felt connected through Social Media? Let me know below!

One thing that I'll always stand by: QUALITY OVER EVERYTHING. Proof is below👇

1️⃣ Value & consistency are equally important:
If you ONLY focus on posting wordy, difficult to read posts, your audience will scroll right past. If you ONLY focus on posting every day but don't offer your audience any substance, they'll also scroll right past.

The key is offering an equal amount of ✨value & consistency✨
This is why creating a content schedule is vital: it helps keep track of how much quality content to post without overwhelming your audience.

2️⃣ Color scheme matters:
Color consistency helps the audience recognize your brand before they ever read a word. This helps build their trust and increases the likelihood that they'll stop scrolling when they see your content.

3️⃣ Quality interactions are more important than number of followers:
While some view the number of followers as the only was to legitimize your brand, building authentic relationships with your audience is the most effective way to establish ✨QUALITY✨ customers.

If you give your customers a personal and genuine experience, they are more likely to use your product/service (or recommend it to someone else) than if you become just another passive ad.
