So how often you should post?

Please note that this is a GENERALIZATION. Each page has a different audience that interacts differently and has different consumption content habits. The same posting strategy simply doesn't work on every account!

This basic posting schedule is what we've gathered over the last few months of growing Instagram accounts we work with.

Remember, posting cadence is dependent on your goals with social media. Ex. If your business goals are social proof and awareness, posting daily may not be the right strategy!

It was a year of huge contrast that made me remember that there's good in the bad - even if you have to dig deep to find it.

I lost a job working with great people doing something I liked, but that allowed me to start my journey in creating a business that I not only love, but is in line to support my dreams.

I lost a year of travel and experiences that were on my bucket list , but that made create experiences at home and made me explore and appreciate the beauty that surrounds me before searching elsewear.

And lastly, 2 days before the new year, I lost my grandma. 6500 miles between us, and no hope to attend her funeral.

It made me realized how lucky I am to have those around me that I feel safe to I can lean on.

My lessons (forced or not) this year were to love fully, appreciate deeply, and to work with the curveballs of life.

I hope you listened to what your universe was trying to communicate and found your own lessons.

"But, they used my hashtag, isn't that permission?" - Eh, Kind of..(talk about a grey area answer)⁠

MOST times, when someone uses your branded hashtag/tags they are indicating that they are open to you reposting.⁠
⁠
However, your business should follow these best practices to cover your butt:⁠
⁠

1 Ask For Permission ⁠
ASK, even if they've tagged you and used your brand hashtag. Instead of leaving a generic comment on their post, send them a DM. Most content creators would be ecstatic if a brand reached out and wanted to use their work since it also gives them exposure.⁠

2 Give Credit ⁠
Repeat after me: "Give credit where credit is due". Live by those rules when it comes to UGC. ALWAYS tag the original creator in the photo or mention them in the caption. ⁠

3 Create a Terms Of Use⁠
If you're a bigger brand, create a Terms Of Use and have creators agree to them before you repost. ⁠
⁠
UGC is one of the best ways to curate a beautiful Instagram feed ( usually for free) and an excellent strategy for marketing your business. ⁠

Did you know that the “Name” field in your Instagram bio is searchable?⁠

They are daft messages that you can create for commonly asked questions or general responses. ⁠All bosses can appreciate a TIME SAVER!

Here's how to create one: ⁠

1 Make sure you're on a Creator or Business account⁠

2 Go to settings ⁠

3 Click the "Creator" or "Business Settings", depending on which account type you have⁠

4 Click "Quick Replies"⁠

5 Click the + button on the top right-hand side and start typing!⁠ ⁠

To use your quick reply, simply just click the message icon when you're in a message and choose the reply you'd like to use!⁠ ⁠ VOILA! ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠
