NW CPDM MPs fighting for positions at National Assembly.

CPDM members of Parliament from the North West region at the national assembly have addressed a letter to the house speaker expressing disgust over their exclusion from juicy missions and committees of the house.

A memo signed by 18 CPDM MPs from one of the troubled English speaking regions states that the cabinet director of the speaker is at the center of their frustrations.

It should be noted that most of the MPs who virtually picked their mandates from the gutters have never tabled a discussion on the conflict ravaging the region.

The secretary General of the Central Committee of the governing Cameroon People's Democratic Movement,CPDM,Jean Nkuete has embarked on a nationwide tour to garner support for 90-year old President Paul Biya ahead of the 2025 presidential elections.

Mr Biya has been president of Cameroon since 1982 and shows no sign of stepping down soon.

Skeletons of five Ndian delegates kidnaped, killed and buried by separatists exhumed by government forces.

It is now clear that five divisional delegates kidnapped by Separatists Ambazonia fighters in Ndian division of the restive South West region of Cameroon almost two years ago were killed and buried in a mass grave.

Some months back,a repented separatist Ambazonia fighter confessed taking part in the macabre act promising to take the forces of law and order to the scene.

In a recent military operation, the defense forces led by some repented fighters combed through the thick forest of Makobe village to the Lipenja camp where the civil servants were buried.

"We are here in Makobe,20km from Ekondo T**i inside the bush.We came to remove the remnants of those five delegates who were kidnapped in June 2021 and buried here," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguele Joseph leading the operation.

He revealed that, "We discovered a mass grave in which they were buried. We dug and retrieved just their skeletons"

The Skeletons carried in plastic bags according to the operations commander will be presented publicly in Buea and handed to the families.

"The next procedure is that we will present the remnants in Buea so that the families can see and receive for burial," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguele.

It should be recalled that it was on June 15,2023 in Masore Balue village in Ekondo T**i,when armed separatists Ambazonia fighters commanded by General 10kobo abducted six divisional delegates serving in Ndian division of the South West region.

One of the delegates Mabia Johnson Mudika of the economy, planning and regional development reportedly died shortly after abduction.

Others who remained in Amba captivity and later killed and buried in a mass grave included Elvis Ebaku, divisional delegate of State property, land tenure and surveys,Felicia Ndong, divisional delegate of housing and urban development,Elad Emmanuel, divisional delegate of water and energy resources,Mbida Armand Christian, divisional delegate of small and size enterprises and Stephen Nyenty, divisional chief of surveys.

WawaNews gathered that at the time of their abduction and subsequent execution, they were on a mission to demarcate and plan pillars on a parcel of land to be allocated to electricity company ENEO for the construction of a power plant.
