¿QUE SIGNIFICA EL TRUCO EN ARGENTINA? 🤔

🃏 El Truco es el juego de naipes más popular en nuestro pais. Es un juego sencillo en el que intervienen 2, 4 o 6 jugadores. Se juega con 40 cartas y el objetivo principal es vencer al rival en todas las manos, además de proponer retos para que los acepte o rechace.

🃏 Es fundamentalmente un juego de trampas en la que están permitidas las mentiras para confundir al oponente. Son engaños legales para ganar la partida 🤭

🃏 La clave está en desarrollar esa bien llamada “viveza criolla” que tiene que ver con la habilidad y astucia de engañar al contrincante haciéndole creer que tiene una carta que no tiene. En este sentido es similar al pocker.

Hoy en Buenos Aires está lloviendo 🌧 y es un día ideal para tomar unos mates y ¡que salga una partida de Truco!

WHAT DOES "TRUCO" MEAN IN ARGENTINA? 🤔

🃏 “Truco” is the most popular card game in our country. It is a simple game involving 2, 4 or 6 players. It is played with 40 cards and the main objective of the game is to beat the opponent in every hand, in addition to proposing challenges for them to accept or reject.

🃏 It is fundamentally a game of cheating in which lies are allowed to confuse the opponent. They are legal tricks to win the game 🤭

🃏 The key is to develop that so-called "viveza criolla" that has to do with the ability and wittiness to deceive the opponent into believing that they have a card that they don't have. In this sense it's similar to poker.

Today It is rainning in Buenos Aires 🌧 and It is a perfect day to have "mate" and play a round of Truco!

En muchos idiomas, "ser" y "estar" se expresan con un mismo verbo ("to be" en inglés, por ejemplo) por eso resulta difícil para los estudiantes de español entender la diferencia en nuestro idioma. La principal, es que el verbo SER se utiliza para DEFINIR y el verbo ESTAR para hablar de CIRCUNSTANCIAS.

Hoy te presentamos algunos usos de los verbos SER y ESTAR en español.

In many languages, “ser” and “estar” are expressed with the same verb (“to be” in English, for example) so it's difficult for students of Spanish to understand the difference between them. The main difference is that the verb “SER” is used to DEFINE and the verb “ESTAR” to talk about CIRCUMSTANCES.

Si hacemos una selfie al modo en que hablamos español en Argentina 🤳🏻 deberíamos hacer foco en el VOSEO.

Pero, ¿qué es el voseo? 🤔 Se refiere al uso del pronombre de la segunda persona del singular "vos" como sustituto del "tú" cuando hablamos con amigos y familiares (informalmente). Ciertas regiones donde se habla español usan el "vos", otras usan el "tú" y algunas usan ambos, pero definitivamente vas a escuchar "vos" en lugar de "tú" si venís a Argentina.

But, what is voseo? 🤔 It refers to the use of the second-person singular pronoun "vos" as a substitute for "tú" when talking with friends and family (informally). Certain regions where Spanish is spoken use "vos", others use "tú" and some use both, but you will definitely hear "vos" instead of "tú" if you come to Argentina.
