HON. ABINYE BLESSING PEPPLE HAILS YOUTHS ON 2022 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY, REITERATES BELIEF IN THEM.

Rivers State House of Assembly Member representing Bonny Constituency and the Chairman House Committee on Power, Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple (JP) has maintained that the youths are not only the future but the hope of Nigeria to drive genuine change.

Hon. Pepple noted that no other segment of the society can match the strength, optimism, ideas, flair and innovations of the young people, which puts them at the forefront of global development.

The legislator made this statement while speaking to newsmen on the heels of other state events he attended earlier today in the Port Harcourt Capital of Rivers State.

"As fellow youths mark the International Youths Day today, I join well meaning individuals to eulogize them and restate our deepest confidence and firm believe in their abilities to better the lot of our country", he said.

"Our youths are our strength as a the people and we must continue to not only recognize their full potentials but make concerted efforts to further develop the youths who will in-turn build the future".

While calling on various state actors and lovers of progress to prioritize youth development, he noted some of the efforts undertaken by his office to, within the scope of his limits, aid the human capacity development of the youths in the Bonny Constituency and beyond, which includes educational interventions, skill acquisition trainings, business support packages and talent support schemes among others.

You will recall that last year, the prestigious lawmaker emerged as the "State Assembly Lawmaker of the Year" at the group's annual award ceremony, in recognition of his impressive leadership qualities, sterling legislative performance and his wide acceptability in his home Constituency and throughout the State.

HON. ABINYE BLESSING PEPPLE ASSURES CONTINUED SYNERGY AS HE RECEIVES BONNY LGA COUNCILLORS.

The Principal Officers and Members of the Bonny Legislative Council has today paid a courtesy call on the Rivers State House of Assembly Member and Representative of Bonny Constituency, Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple (JP) at the State Assembly Complex in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The visit of the Hon. Councillors to the State Lawmaker was chiefly to further familiarize with his Office, discuss critical issues of public interest and deepen the relationship that exists between the two lawmaking institutions.

The Leader of the Legislative Council who led the delegation, Rt. Hon. Larry Idawarifagha Ibaningo in his remarks also hailed the State Parliamentarian for his enormous efforts and well-intended contributions to the growth of the constituency through his various interventions, outreaches and infrastructural developments.

In his speech, Amasenibo, Hon. Pepple thanked the LGA legislators for their visit, extending his congratulatory remarks to them for their parliamentary journey thus far, while reiterating his open door policy in the Assembly.

The State Lawmaker further restated his resolve to continuously give room to robust synergy and partnership with various stakeholders in Bonny Constituency and beyond.

Rivers State Parliamentarian and Member representing Bonny State Constituency, Distinguished Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple (JP) has joined other well wishers to congratulate a revered Elderstateman and illustratious titled citizen of Grand Bonny Kingdom, Amasenibo Lawrence Macaulay Pepple alias Larry Pepple, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.

Hon. Pepple, while felicitating with the respected Amasenibo, noted that the celebrant is a consummate gentleman, an astute security expert, an administrator extraordinaire and a builder of men who has enormously contributed to the development of Bonny Kingdom, Rivers State and Nigeria at Large.

"Distinguished Amasenibo Larry Pepple is a resourceful Elderstateman who is full of wisdom and grit, one whose leadership prowess and contributions are distinctive and cannot be overemphasized," he stated.

Our attention has been drawn to a Facebook Account recently opened with the name "Asinye Blessing Pepple". Though the purpose for such supposed mock account remains unknown, it is pertinent to state unequivocally that the aforesaid account neither belongs to Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, the Member representing Bonny Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly nor has any connections with him.

However, it is suspected to be another gimmick of unscrupulous elements looking to mislead the unsuspecting public and defraud them of their fortunes, or the antics of mischief makers and desperadoes who aim to put out a campaign of calumny against the people's Choice Representative or slander his hard earned reputation.

Hence, we dissociate the Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple and his office from the said Facebook account, as the real and active account of the vibrant Lawmaker goes as thus: "Abinye Blessing Pepple" and with a profile picture of him and his dear wife.

The general public is therefore alerted and advised to disregard it, otherwise be cautious and have no dealings with the account in the name and office of the Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple.

HON. ABINYE BLESSING PEPPLE JOINS RIVERS STATE GOVERNOR, AMANYANABO OF BONNY, COUNCIL BOSS, OTHERS TO INAUGURATE BONNY CONSULATE BUILDING AND FLAG-OFF THE INSECTICIDE TREATED NETS DISTRIBUTION IN BONNY.

Rivers State Parliamentarian representing Bonny Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, JP earlier today joined other respected Leaders and people of Grand Bonny Kingdom to the unveiling and formal hand-over of the Bonny Consulate building to Bonny Kingdom.

The ceremony which was performed by the Rivers State Governor, His Excellency, Chief Nyesom Wike ably represented by his deputy, Her Excellency, Alabota, Dr. Mrs Ipalibo Harry-Banigo and had in attendance the Amayanabo of Grand Bonny Kingdom, His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple lll, Perekule XI, CON, JP, Bonny Local Government Area Chairman, Alabota, Dame, Hon. Anengi Barasua Dagogo Claude-Wilcox, respected Chiefs of Bonny and Titled Citizens, amongst others.

The occasion also brought together NLNG Board Members, the Dr. Philip Mshelbila led NLNG Management Team as well as the Management of Julius Begger plc whose corporate partnership and sponsorship led to reconstruction of the consulate building.

Hon. Abinye Pepple while congratulating the people of Bonny for yet another milestone towards the socio-economic growth of the kingdom, appreciated His Majesty the King of Grand Bonny for his visionary leadship which has made Bonny stand tall in the state. He further acknowledged the robust bond between the Kingdom and the NLNG, thanking her for the worthy partnership in the sustainable development of the Bonny through her various CSR schemes.

The highpoint of the occasion was the commissioning of the consulate building and the flag-off for Insecticide Treated Nets Distribution in Bonny.

As a legislator,

*He stepped up representation and more than ever before, the Assembly was brought closer to the average constituents like me and you, not forgetting such other activities as Interactive sessions, town hall meetings, etc.

*Championed education in Bonny & prioritized student welfare through various scholarships, annual bursaries, stipends, yearly JAMB, GCE & WAEC schemes.

*Nominated/Constructed first ever LGA Student Association nationwide.

*Nominated/Constructed first ever LGA independent Fire Station nationwide

*Nominated/Constructing Market Apartments and stalls.

*Since 2015, no other Bonny political leader across levels or arms of government has attracted or initiated and completed any other infrastructural project in Bonny superior to these constituency projects.

*He empowered several youths through various human capacity development trainings, including various interventions, sponsorships and outreaches to the widows, elderlies, needy and specially abled amongst others.

*Known by his colleagues as the voice and many others as the Vocal due to his show of strength, courage, articulation, intelligence and capacity.

*He gave Bonny a state voice that no other political leader has achieved since after Hon. Reggy Wilcox and today, Bonny Constituency is the talk of the entire state such that the average Rivers youth across party lines uses him as a benchmark for their leaders.

He is not perfect and would not be everyone's favourite but he has unarguably done remarkably well in this time and within his political limits, and has shown clearly that with him the Bonny man's voice can be heard.

Tonye Harry became Speaker in his 3rd Term, Otelemaba Dan Amachree in his 4th Term, Ikuinyi Owaji-Ibani in his 3rd Term, if there's a vision and there is courage to pursue same, I will not be part of any ploy to turn off the light.

I support BONNY to also become a frontliner in Rivers Politics and I'm rooting for Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple for 2023.

BONNY FIRE STATION(BFS): LAWMAKER PAYS FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF NIGERIA LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS(NLNG).

~ Seeks to consolidate on support for official take off.
~ Calls for involvement of stakeholders in the Distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas(LPG).

The Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas(NLNG) Multinational Company has been called on, to engender more support for the kick-off of the Bonny Fire Station, as well as involving stakeholders for her distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Above were amongst the submissions made today by the Rivers State Parliamentarian representing Bonny Constituency, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple on his familiarization visit to the new Managing Director of NLNG, Mr. Phillip Mphelbila at the company's office in Port-Harcourt.

Expressing delight in the synergy experienced so far with the firm, the Lawmaker noted his extreme gratitude for the huge sustainable collaborations that has existed between Nigeria LNG and his office.

"Congratulations on your new position as the Managing Director of NLNG, this familiarisation visit offers me the unique and robust opportunity to further deepen my resolve to collaborate with you towards the growth and development of Bonny Kingdom and most importantly your support for the official take-off of the Bonny Fire Station".

Stating in furtherance for clarity on what prompted the nomination of BFS he said, "having considered the needs assessment of my constituents, occasioned by series of domestic fire outbreaks, I nominated the construction of Bonny Fire Station as my Constituency Project and as I speak to you that landmark project has been completed, Firemen Trained and certified but the only challenge confronting its commissioning is the salaries of the fire technicians, hence my visit for your productive engagement".

Nigeria LNG has been a progressive and pragmatic partner in the wheel of progress in Bonny Kingdom and your sustainable partnership in ensuring the official inauguration of Bonny Fire Station will remain one of your enduring legacies that you will have bequeathed to our Constituency.

I am absolutely satisfied and appreciative of companies support and remarkable commitment in Training Twenty (20) Firemen that will Mann the Bonny Fire Station (BFS)", he added.

"Let me sincerely crave your indulgence to consider Bonny and Rivers Indigenous Stakeholders who are competent with vast experience in the distribution of your Liquified Petroleum Gas LPG (Cooking Gas) as a way of empowering local vendors within your areas of operations as this will create employment for youths and guarantee economic cohesion", he concluded.

BONNY CONSTITUENCY: HON ABINYE BLESSING PEPPLE TO DISTRIBUTE FREE JAMB FORMS TO CONSTITUENTS

Sequel to entrenching sustainable educational initiatives for his Constituents and furtherance to providing academic support to parents, the Lawmaker representing Bonny Constituency in Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Abinye Blessing Pepple have disclosed that educational support is of uncompromising importance to him as he has embarked on the 2022 Free Distribution of JAMB forms.

Speaking with news men today after securing the free JAMB forms, the visionary Lawmaker expressed satisfaction on the progress level of previous distribution and impact achieved, "I am absolutely satisfied and remarkably fulfilled seeing beneficiaries of our sustainable educational empowerment intervention initiatives such as the scholarship scheme, bursary, free JAMB, free GCE/WAEC, graduate from various universities under our watch. It has given me the required impetus to further deepen my resolve and commitment to provide access to qualitative and quantitative education for students of my Constituency."

The distribution of forms to Stakeholders, Chieftaincy Youth Houses, Social, Political, Non-Indigenous, religious, etc groups will commence on friday 11th February, 2022 and last day for return of completed forms is friday 25th February 2022, to enable administrative compilation and biometric capturing.

In the world's of former President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, "if you're walking down the right path and you're willing to keep walking, eventually you'll make progress.

Going memory lane since his inception as the representative of the good people of Bonny LGA in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Abinye Blessing has continued to make huge difference in the lives and land of Bonny Kingdom.

He has not only constructed a world class Fire Fighting Station and a state of act secretariat for Bonny Students, Hon Abinye's scholarship, bursary and empowerment programs has placed Bonny among the enviable constituencies in Rivers state, no wonder he was awarded the best state lawmaker in Rivers state and Nigeria.

HON. ABINYE BLESSING PEPPLE COMMISERATES WITH RESIDENTS AND TRADERS AT BONNY/BILLE/NEMBE JETTY OVER FIRE OUTBREAK.

Rivers State House of Assembly Member representing Bonny Constituency, Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple has expressed shock and huge concern over the inferno which rocked parts of the Bonny/Bille/Nembe waterfront yesterday.

The Parliamentarian who described the incident as very disturbing, unfortunate and saddening, sympathized with those who live and do business there, especially those whose business may have been directly affected, leading to the lose of their goods during the fire incident.

Speaking with news men after the incident, he further urged everyone to desist from high risk activities capable of causing these fire outbreaks while advising them to uphold strict safety measures and be more cautious particularly when dealing with highly inflammable materials as we approach the harmattan season, in order to forestall further occurrences.

BONNY STATE CONSTITUENCY LAWMAKER DISTRIBUTE WHEELCHAIRS TO PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED PERSONS, FIRST OF ITS KIND BY A REPRESENTATIVE.

In a bid to consolidate on his humane and developmental strides, and way of giving back to the society, the Lawmaker representing Bonny Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly and the Chairman, House Committee on Power, Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, JP, yesterday, gave out wheelchairs to Members of his Constituency who are physically challenged in using their legs.

The Parliamentarian in his remark noted that the distribution of the wheelchairs is a systematic approach to reach out to various individuals in the Constituency, and in this case, meant to aid mobility of these persons living with disability.

Hon. Pepple further stated that the welfare of our people remains an eminent responsibility upon him irrespective of any circumstances, he asked God for more Grace to continue to impact on the society.

The event witnessed the presence of the Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government Dame Hon Anengi Barasua JP who was ably represented by the Bonny Local Government Secretary, Hon Ralph Sotonye Jamaica, various clergymen, leaders of thought and personalities present at the event took their turns to hail the efforts of the lawmaker.

Bishop Dappa Opubo Abbey of Christ Army Church, Bonny, described his effort as rare, purely humane and a clear demonstration of conscience and love. He thanked the lawmaker for identifying with those in need and prayed God for continuous political growth.

According to Pst. Sebastian Benstowe, "this is more than politics, this is leadership", as he commended the strides of the lawmaker.

On his part, Hon. Kingsley Tammy Jumbo, the Councillor of Ward 10, Bonny Local Government Legislative Council, lauded the lawmaker for patriotically utilizing his representational office in remembering and purposefully attracting such commendable gesture to the disabled members of his Constituency which significantly happens to be first of its kind and is worthy of emulation.

On his part, the PDP Chairman of the Non-Indigenes Without Borders, Barr. Mentus Agamekwe described the event as very remarkable and one to reckon with, he appreciated the State lawmaker for not discriminating and trying his best to carry everyone along irrespective of tribe or religion, calling upon all the non-indigenes to continue to support the lawmaker.

The PDP Chairman of Ward 12 and Chairman of all Ward Chairmen, Mr. Austin Onu-Pepple in his speech, noted that this initiative is the first of its kind and underscores the efficiency and capacity of the lawmaker, and tells of him as a peoples man.

Barr. Davies, the secretary to the board of ROEF Foundation, a charity organization which collaborated with the lawmaker described Hon. Abinye as one who knows how to find help for his people, according to him, the lawmaker has effectively lobbied for the good of his people.

SECOND BATCH OF FIRE TECHNICIANS FOR THE BONNY FIRE STATION TAKE OFF FOR TRAINING PROGRAMME.

Following the completion of the training of the first batch of Fire Technicians who will man the Bonny Fire Station (BFS), the 2nd batch of 10 Technicians have today proceeded to the renowned Prime Atlantic Safety Service in Ibadan for their training scheme which will cover core areas of competencies for the running of a fire station.

Recall that the Nigeria LNG Ltd is partnering with the Member representing Bonny Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, to train Fire Technicians to man the Bonny Fire Station, a Constituency Project of the very distinguished lawmaker.

This again underscores the consistency, commitment and the on-going efforts by the astute parliamentarian towards the systematic development of the Constituency.

EID-EL-MAULUD: PEPPLE HARPS ON LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.

Rivers State Assembly Member and Representative of Bonny Constituency, Amasenibo, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple felicitates with Muslim faithfuls in Bonny Constituency, Rivers State and Nigeria at large, on the occasion of the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.).

According to the lawmaker, the Eid-El-Maulud celebration offers ample opportunity to reiterate the essence of peace, oneness, solidarity and good neighbourliness, and the need to love one another as exhibited in teachings and the peaceful nature of the holy Prophet.

Amasenibo Abinye Pepple further calls for sober reflections and prayers over the myriad of challenges we currently face as a people, in order to heal our land and entrench progress and rapid development in the various sectors of the economy.

While reassuring the Muslim community and by extension, various non-indigenous groups in the Constituency of his commitment to continue to be fair to all and sundry, and do his best for the good of the people and residents of Bonny.
