Winning an election entails so many strategies and mobilisation .
So all political parties have been running up and down to make sure they secure the best candidates, this strategy is to make sure they can pe*****te to the smallest unit of the county.
A party with the best candidates will automatically win many seats come August 9th.
I guess now you have a clue on how parties win elections. So in our case study we will pick PAA , ODM and UDA as a case in point.
So let's critically look into the UDA party their possibilities of winning the 2022 elections in Kilifi. We have 7 constituencies and UDA have only one member of Parliament who is popular.
ODM have 3 constituencies where they have popular mp candidates, PAA have also 3 Popular candidates. This can easily foretell you the horses in the race.
When we go down to the Kilifi county Assembly Contest , out of the 35 wards UDA have only 2 mcas who are likely going to win . ODM have at least 10 mcas who are popular and they have bigger chances of winning, PAA commands the biggest share of at least 23 mcas who are popular and they're likely going to win the 2022 elections. Remember that the voter mobilisation strengths of a party is measured by the strengths of it's members.
So the writing is on the wall. UDA is a sinking ship , the battle is now narrowed down to PAA vs ODM and with the arrangements that exists now ODM is guaranteed to get one top seat and lose the rest to PAA , PAA is guaranteed to win 4 members of national assembly and lose the rest to ODM and UDA.
