Binmaley is known as the Fishbowl of Pangasinan.
It has become a tradition the past nine years or so that thousands of people would gather around the Poblacion area to celebrate the bounties of the sea and its fishponds through grilling, dancing and merry-making.
Sigay Festival is held every town fiesta celebration that connotes bountiful harvest of fish produce here.
Binmaley has about 3,120 hectares devoted to aquaculture like bangus, tilapia, prawns, shrimps, malaga and crabs.
