Bisan tuod dunay mga estudyante ug faculty sa usa ka eskwelahan sa Cagayan de Oro nga dunay mga sintomas niini nga virus, walay kaso niini nga sakit nga nakumpirma sa laboratoryo.

Gi-awhag gihapon ang publiko sa pag-obserbar sa preventive measures o mga pamaagi aron dili mataptan niini. Sama nalang sa kanunay nga paghugas sa kamot, pagsuot og face mask, ug ubang public health standard measures.

Ang Nipah Virus gikan sa mga hayop nga pwedeng motakod sa mga tawo. Apil sa mga sintomas niini ang hilanat, panakit sa ulo ug kalawasan, pagsuka, sakit sa tutunlan, ug pagkalipong.

Wala pa usab kaso niini nga sakit dinhi sa Iligan.

In partnership with the Iligan City Sports Office, the City Mayor's Office - Youth Affairs will be conducting the Inter-Barangay Hataw Competition this coming May 2, 2023 in line with the celebration of ILIGAN FESTIVAL OF SPORTS AND RECREATION MONTH: PAAMBIT SA PALAHAMPANG 2023.

GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS:
1. The competition is open to all barangays in Iligan City.
2. Participants must prepare and compile their Barangay Residency and submit on April 17-21, 2023.
3. Order of performances will be based on the number they had picked prior to the contest. Picking of performance order will be on April 21, 2023.
4. Each barangay will have a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 30 members.
5. Each group should be complete during the allotted time of registration for the contest. Incomplete groups or groups with lacking members will be deducted two (2) points deduction from the total score.
6. Groups must submit their music on April 30, 2023. Failure to submit will have two (2) points deduction in total score.
7. Each group will perform to any dance music with a minimum time limit of 5 minutes and a maximum of 8 minutes. Beyond this limit, a total of five (5) points will be deducted from the group's total score.
8. The members of the group may be composed of males, females, or any combination thereof in all ages.
9. Music and Choreography should be wholesome and lively, and must not contain any subliminal, sexually suggestive and vulgar lyrics/language or suggestive acts.
10. The use of pyrotechnic gadgets, smoke or combustible materials as props is not allowed.
11. Any team proven in violation of the rules & regulations will be automatically disqualified from the event.
12. Decision of judges is final and non-appealable.

NOTE: To participate, kindly visit the CMO - Youth Affairs Office to get the Guidelines and Registration Forms from April 17-21, 2023.

Forms submission to accommodate everyone who wants to take part in our One Day Sports events for the Palao Summer League 2023! Just prepare your Purok certificate, valid Id, and your Registration form. The deadline of submission will be this Friday, April 21, 2023. 💕

You may submit your requirements to SK council members who will be present to officiate the basketball and volleyball league at 542 court, 5:00 pm onwards.
