The Deep Woods: A blossoming collaboration brings fairy tale, indie press to life

Get warm and mystical with us this Saturday with Minneapolis writer, Siri Undlin, as she shares her new book, Wolf's Beard! With illustrations by our very own Serena Wagner~

The EC release party will be from 8-11 pm at Red's Mercantile.

Happenings: Rendering Reality: Writing With Honesty And Complexity In Memoir hosted by our pals Chippewa Valley Writers Guild!
Courtney Kersten, author of Daughter in Retrograde, will be hosting a craft talk this evening on the interweavings of writing a memoir from 7-8pm at The Local Store.
Kersten's essays have been featured in River Teeth, Brevity, The Normal School, Hotel Amerika, DIAGRAM, The Sonora Review, Black Warrior Review, The Master’s Review, to name a few. From her own experience, she will delve into how using scene, form, and revision can help memoir and nonfiction writers represent themselves, their companions, and place with honesty and complexity.

the twig fam recently got a lil bigger with the addition of our new intern Mary Margaret! mary is a junior at UWEC majoring in critical studies in literature, culture, & film, and is actively involved in UWEC College Feminists and The Flipside. she’ll be working on our fourth issue as well as social media management and event coordination - so if you see her out and about say hi! 👋

The sun is coming out and we are reminiscing about this lovely Palentine's evening a couple weeks ago, filled with spunky art and sweet words. Thanks to all who came and stopped by our table!
