Quick Update: We visited Bria's family over the weekend and were able to pray with the family and bless them with a small gift. The husband is 42 years old and now is taking care of the 14 children with the help of the eldest daughter who is married. In his own words ' everything happened so fast and only the Lord knew why, if I knew that she will be taken I would have died before her and not been able to continue life'
He is overwhelmed and in mourning, the church is supporting them through this very difficult time and many are praying for them. It's been just over a month since Tamara went to be with the Lord. We're thinking of helping the children to have a week away for a short holiday. This helped my family when our mother was called to be with the Lord. Let me know your thoughts. Let's continue to pray for this family.

Romanian pastor who survived the tortures of the gulag by preaching sermons to himself in his underground cell
RICHARD WURMBRAND, who has died aged 91, was a Romanian Lutheran pastor whose determination to spread the word of God led to his being imprisoned for 14 years and tortured by the Communist authorities.
Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.—Hebrews 13:3
The founder of the Voice of the Martyrs, Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, loved people. He and his wife, Sabina, had a great passion to lead others to Christ.
We have written about his courage as he stood alone among more than 1,000 leaders to denounce the control of Romanian communism. The communists had closed Sunday schools and oppressed the church. Pastor Wurmbrand resisted the communists’ control of the church and went underground. He held services for youth attending his church in front of the lion’s den at the Bucharest Zoo to prepare them for battle with the world. Pastor Wurmbrand led his little Lutheran congregation, composed of many Jewish converts, to the Bucharest train station to toss Russian Gospels into the windows of passing trains filled with invading Russian soldiers. The soldiers kept the Gospels. For many such acts of aggressive love, he and his wife both went to prison.
When Richard and Sabina began the work of VOM in October 1967 in America, some might think they would have been changed by living in an open, wealthy nation where everything could come easy for famous, gifted people. But their love, their burden — whether for helping those persecuted abroad or right next door — remained the same.
Pastor Wurmbrand woke up early in the morning with long lists of names of people. One by one, he would pray for them. He and Sabina fasted one day a week.
One night there was a great crash. Richard, now in his 70s, had fallen on the bathroom floor and fractured his skull. The next morning in his hospital room, he began to pull on his clothes to leave. The frantic nurses came in to tell him he could not get up. He said, “How can I sit in bed with only a little pain in my head when I am supposed to speak in Berlin where the people suffer much more than I do?” At the time, Berlin, Germany, was a walled-off city surrounded by the East German communist military. He flew to Germany.
After coming to America, Pastor Wurmbrand never owned a house or a car. Being older, he took driving lessons but was kindly told by the instructor that it would be better to save his money. On one of their trips flying overseas, he and Sabina would approach an airline counter with about 12 suitcases of clothes they had purchased at a used clothing store, clothes to be carried into communist Eastern Europe for persecuted Christians. The stunned airline agents crumbled under their heartfelt appeal and let them take the clothes.
When Richard and Sabina passed from earth, the house they lived in was sold and the funds used for international ministry. They had moved to an eternal house.
After Pastor Wurmbrand’s funeral, his son, Michael Wurmbrand, held a special dinner. A young woman told her story. She had worked for a florist and delivered flowers to Richard and Sabina’s home in Southern California. Sabina graciously invited her inside. Richard told her an old story of the Emperor of Japan who visited a garden to see only one flower, a very special flower. Then Pastor Wurmbrand looked at her and said, “And you are God’s special flower. This is why you came today. God loves you. You are special to Him.” She came to Christ. Her life was changed forever.
Whether he was speaking to his torturer in a Romanian prison or to a flower delivery girl in America, Pastor Wurmbrand knew that our highest calling is to be witnesses of the love and grace of God.
His legacy continues on around the world.

The clip of Arthur was played at Coventry Crown Court on Tuesday, along with a video that showed the youngster struggling to move his duvet and Avengers-themed pillow after being forced to sleep in the living room for the fifth day in a row.
The schoolboy was later killed as a result of having his head banged “repeatedly against a hard surface” at the hands of Tustin, it is alleged.
In audio clips released alongside the video by West Midlands Police, Arthur is heard crying “no one loves me” and “no one is going to feed me”.

The Furdui children are not allowed to meet their relatives.
The Furdui Family's children were seized by Jugendamt on April 26, 2021 in Germany. Six months passed since then, in which aunts and other relatives of the children wanted to visit them and spend time together.
The Jugendamt's answer has always been either that they are not allowed to meet, or that it will decide at some later time whether they will be allowed to do so. However, it never gave a concrete answer. Throughout summer the Furdui girls said they wanted to be visited by their relatives and be allowed to go out for an ice cream with one of their aunts with whom they had a more special relationship.
None of the officials in charge of the case did anything to fulfil the girls' wishes. One of the girls also wanted to take a trip and visit her aunt during a recent holiday week. She looked forward to a favorable answer which, however, never came.
Her legal guardians did not even bother to entertain such an option or give her an answer.
The children are completely ignored. They feel frustrated and powerless in the state's custody. Jugendamt has seemingly determined that the children's' relationships with the extended family are not good for them. Rather, it seems intent on isolating the children and keeping them in conditions that are worse than in prison.
One of the girls cried a lot when the case manager told her that none of her wishes were good enough to be fulfilled. She wanted to be allowed to visit her younger sister who lives with another surrogate family and to also see her biological parents over the weekend. These natural wishes and feelings of the children Jugendamnt apparently disapproves of and scorns. Like the desire of all children to return home and be reunited with the family.
Every child tries in different ways to cope with their longing for their parental home.
We continue to support these wonderful children whom Jugendamnt has victimised, and will continue to expose Jugendamt's abuses until all children return home to their parents.

He was a student of church history, with a particular interest in Christian revival. His evangelistic meetings during the Second World War drew large crowds. Many converts devoted themselves to Christian ministry and foreign missions. In 1939, he married an Irish nurse, Martha. The Ravenhills had three sons: Paul, David, and Philip. Paul and David are Christian ministers, and Philip is a teacher. In 1950, Ravenhill and his family moved from Great Britain to the United States. In the 1960s they traveled within the United States, holding tent revivals and evangelistic meetings. In the 1980s, Ravenhill moved to a home near Lindale, Texas, a short distance from Last Days Ministries Ranch. He regularly taught classes at LDM and was a mentor to the late Keith Green. He also spent some time teaching at Bethany College of Missions in Minnesota, and some time in Seguin, Texas. Among others influenced by Ravenhill were Ray Comfort, Ravi Zacharias, Tommy Tenney, Steve Hill, Charles Stanley, Bill Gothard, Paul Washer, and David Wilkerson. He was a close friend of pastor and writer A. W. Tozer. Through his teaching and books, Ravenhill addressed the disparities he perceived between the New Testament Church and the Church in his time and called for adherence to the principles of biblical revival. He and his wife, Sabina, had a great passion to lead others to Christ. We have written about his courage as he stood alone among more than 1,000 leaders to denounce the control of Romanian communism. The communists had closed Sunday schools and oppressed the church. Pastor Wurmbrand resisted the communists’ control of the church and went underground. He held services for youth attending his church in front of the lion’s den at the Bucharest Zoo to prepare them for battle with the world. Pastor Wurmbrand led his little Lutheran congregation, composed of many Jewish converts, to the Bucharest train station to toss Russian Gospels into the windows of passing trains filled with invading Russian soldiers. The soldiers kept the Gospels. For many such acts of aggressive love, he and his wife both went to prison. It's the meat-and-vegetable dish you put in a pot, simmer in a slow boil, and then eat. Yet Webster's Encyclopedic Dictionary offers another definition. It describes stew as "a state of being agitated, disturbed." This same definition also includes the phrase "stewing in one's own juices" - meaning, "to allow trouble and agitation to simmer; to continue in a disturbed state of mind." We Americans tend to overlap these two meanings of the word "stew." Whenever we want to describe our troubled emotions, for instance, we use cooking terms. For example: An upset person is said to be "steamed." And a very angry person is thought of as being "boiling mad." When someone rages excessively, his "mind is fried." Indeed, human emotions are sometimes described in terms of tap water: hot, cold or lukewarm. Such expressions abound in the workplace. Many people describe their office as a "pressure cooker." The phrase "turning up the heat" means to put on pressure. When someone is lethargic, his coworkers say, "Somebody ought to light a fire under him." And when someone can't handle the pressure, he's told, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Likewise, someone who's making progress is "really cooking." A house that's overheated is described as being "hot as an oven." And a frigid home is said to be "cold as a deep freeze." In this message, I want to focus on the expression "stewing in one's own juices." The fact is, Jesus taught eternal truths by using everyday illustrations - parables, stories and familiar expressions of his day. And I believe "stewing in one's own juices" is a modern-day
