As someone who has experienced the devastating loss of a loved one due to lack of access to quality healthcare, Sen. Monday Okpebholo is deeply passionate about ensuring that every individual in Edo State has access to free healthcare at the primary level. His sister's passing due to a water-borne disease has left an indelible mark on him, and he is determined to honour her memory by making a difference in the lives of others.

Sen. Okpebholo's vision is to establish a healthcare unit in each of the 192 wards in Edo State, staffed by a minimum of four nurses, including a delivery nurse. Additionally, every Local Government Area will have Mobile Doctors who will conduct weekly visits to each ward, providing essential medical care and referring serious cases to specialist hospitals in Benin as needed.

Furthermore, Sen. Monday Okpebholo is committed to ensuring that every village in Edo State has access to pipe-borne water, a fundamental human right that is still lacking in many areas. This is not just a promise; it is a solemn commitment to the people of Edo State. Together, we can make a difference and create a healthier, more prosperous future for all.
