💫 A CALL TO RETURN TO GOD
Joel 2:12-17 “’Now, therefore…turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.’ So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm. Who knows if He will turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him— a grain offering and a drink offering for the Lord your God?...”
From the beginning of creation God has always been known for His mighty works. Throughout scripture, we see a wonder-working God in operation. Whenever He descended, His presence was characterized by power and glory and ultimately brought a lot of fear and caused many to repent from their sins. But why are we not seeing that today? Did God stop being powerful? Why do we have so many churches and children of God without display of power? Why have we settled for such a state in the Body of Christ? The sad part is that we seem to be comfortable carrying our Bibles going to church while not affecting anything or anyone.
There are very few notable miracles. When the people of this world look at Christians, they see a nuisance that does not add any value. The apostles of the first church caused the name of the Lord to be feared among people. They turned the whole world upside down performing signs and wonders that were never seen before. When the apostles prayed, the place they were praying from literally shook. The Church of today cannot even pray prayers that make an impact. When we pray, we murmur and mumble and see no change afterwards. We do not even walk in one accord. We allowed the devil to take over our churches. Sin always disturbs the program of God as His Spirit cannot move where there is sin.
His hand is not too short to save, and His ear is not too dull, but our sins have separated us from Him (Isaiah 59:1-2). Our God is a holy God who demands us to be holy. But the Church

The Incarnation of the Word of Life
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ
