*Note: None of the anthologies published by Soul Sisters Publishing will ever have fees or buy-ins, and they are all paying, except for our drabbles. All anthologies henceforth will benefit charities. For most of these, 20% of the proceeds will be donated. For our drabbles, however, 100% of the proceeds will be donated.

The following is our list of anthologies now seeking submissions:
1) Campfire Tales to Terrify Your Friends - This anthology will be comprised of drabbles (stories that are exactly 100 words in length). Try your hand at some super short fiction and see what nightmares you can induce with only 100 words to spare. This anthology will benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters. 2) Weird Science - We want your best stories and poems about mad scientists, experiments gone awry, lab accidents, and more... the weirder and crazier, the better! 3) Legends Reborn - This anthology will feature all sorts of tall tales, fairy tales, mythology, and folklore... but with a twist! Reinvent the stories of old in new and creative ways. 4) Reflections - This anthology will feature poems and short stories (both fiction and nonfiction) 10,000 words or less in length on the topic of reflections. The interpretation of this theme is up to the author, so use your imagination and get creative. This anthology will benefit the American Foundation for the Blind. 5) Time and Eternity - Celebrate the passing of a new year with stories all about time. This one is also up to author interpretation. It could mean anything from the passing of time to time travel. 6) Discoveries - This anthology will be all about discoveries. Has your character discovered something new about themselves or their family? Do you have a story to tell about an explorer discovering new lands... or better yet, a new planet? This anthology will benefit the EAA. We're looking for stories 10,000 words or less on this theme. 7) Supernatural - This anthology will be focused on all things supernatural... fairies, witches, werewolves, vampires... whatever you've got, we want to read it. 8) Tortured Souls - This anthology will feature stories and poems about tortured souls. This one is also up to author interpretation. It could mean a character who was kidnapped, a soldier being tortured by the enemy, murder, psychological torment, etc. Go wild! This anthology will benefit the Bob Woodruff Foundation. 9) Holiday Spirit (Working Title) - This anthology will feature stories revolving around holiday wishes, miracles, festivities, chaos/humor, etc. We are accepting stories (fiction and nonfiction) revolving around all winter holidays. 11) Airships & Antiquities - This anthology seeks to blur the lines between science fiction and fantasy, creating a set of unique stories that push the boundaries of what we know and love about steampunk. We are accepting stories and poems. Stories should be 20,000 words or less. This anthology will benefit Limbs for Life. 12) Our Furry Friends - This anthology will feature stories and poems, both fiction and nonfiction, about animals. Submissions can focus on all types of animals and should show them at their best. 13) Survivor - This anthology will feature stories 20,000 words or less in length. These stories should revolve around characters who have been through a lot, only to come out stronger. These stories can involve heartache and loss, desert islands, war, abandonment, tragedies, disease, injuries, or any number of situations. This anthology will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. 14) Celtic Rose - This anthology will feature stories and poems about romance, true love, and soul mates... all with a Celtic theme. Stories should be 20,000 words or less in length. 15) Celtic Fire - Celtic stories revolving around the theme of fire... whether that means literal fire, the waging of war, a flaming sword, or the fierce determination of a heroine. Interpretation is up to the author. Stories should be 20,000 words or less in length. This anthology will help benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital. 16) Renaissance - This anthology will feature stories and poems revolving around the theme of the Renaissance. We are accepting both fiction and nonfiction. Submissions can include nonfiction pieces about the great artists, inventors, or other notable figures of the era; fictional pieces set in that time period; or any other work that fits the theme. Artwork and music should be styled accordingly as well. Stories should be 20,000 words or less in length. 17) Angels & Demons: Fighting the Darkness Within - We are seeking stories and poems revolving around the theme of mental illness. No stigma! No stereotypes! Stories should be 20,000 words or less.
