Love this tune! New one taken from the dvr's EP 'dirty tapes' released via XL Recordings. They definitely don't need us to publicise this release but I still wanted to share it as it's definitely well worth a listen if you are not yet aware of the Scottish artist that brought us a number of excellent self-releases already including our favourite, the 'u can call me dillon' EP.

After receiving hundreds of amazing tunes from artists from all over the world, we are pleased to say that work is well under way for Vol.2 of our 'Homebrew' compilation series as well as for Vol.3 and a new series to be announced later in the year.
Since March 2020 we’ve been asking ourselves the following question, how has the artists’ creativity and inspiration to produce music been impacted by lockdowns, tour cancellations, social distance and restrictions?
We thought the best way to answer this question was to ask it directly to the artists that haven’t stopped for a second in the past 2 years and managed to write, record and release great music. To see what they had to say about this, what better way to do it than to share their homespun creations?

We made an album.
Out on 29th April.
It’s called Honeyglaze. 🍯

This must be the biggest thing any of us have made in our lives, so far. We recorded eleven tracks with Dan Carey and Alexis Smith over four exhausting, exciting days in April last year, sweltering in their strange studio with hundreds of whirring sound machines and no fans. It’s coming out on Speedy Wunderground, a label we’ve loved since before we even knew a record deal was a possibility. We feel very lucky, in short. Lucky and proud.

‘Honeyglaze’ is available for pre-order in all different shapes and sizes including limited edition LPs from the good people at Rough Trade and Dinked. Shadows, the third single from the album, is out now. Check them out in the link below.

Just got back from and already have 2023 in the calendar. What a brilliant festival, always been away or busy so never managed to attend in previous years. Every act delivered big time and personal highlights were probably the always amazing the Friday night takeover, the last minute surprise/replacement , A Certain Ratio .mcr Q&A with and their brilliant set. Also very pleased with myself for getting my ass to the arly set from new favourites
