2nd Environmental Camp: KLIMA
Surviving Climate Change by Effective Mitigation Measures

With the current scorching heat amidst the El Niño season, YES-O will conduct a two-day in-person Environmental Camp titled KLIMA, on May 18-19, 2023. This activity will focus on providing practical knowledge on Climate Change and El Niño Mitigation and Energy and Power Conservation.

Participants of this activity are all classroom presidents, and officers of the eleven school-based youth organizations which includes the Supreme Student Government (SSG), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), TLE Club, English Club, Samahan ng mga Mag aaral sa Filipino, Batang Empowered and Resilient Team, Girl Scout of the Philippines, Boy Scout of the Philippines, Water in School Team, and SWM Eco Warriors.

JUST IN: Councilor KT Angeles-Go Visits CATHS Main to Celebrate Women’s Month

The optimistic, generous, cheerful-giver, smart, and dedicated strong woman, Hon. Councilor Katrina Theresa Angeles-Go, graced the celebration of 2023 National Women’s Month at CATHS Main as she spoke about empowering women and promoting gender equality.

“Today's woman is no longer a dependent soul; she is independent and self-reliant in every respect and is capable of doing everything. Let's recognize the importance of their existence and motivate them for their future achievements.” Go said. She expressed her support to all women and reminded them that everyone is capable of doing something great regardless of gender.

CENTRAL AZUCARERA DE TARLAC HIGH SCHOOL MAIN BAGS 2022 REGIONAL BRIGADA ESKWELA SPECIAL AWARD

For the first time, among all the schools in Region III, CATHS Main grabbed 3rd runner up in Brigada Pagbasa Advocacy.

This success was made possible with the support given by Tarlac City Schools Division headed by our SDS, Dr. Maria Carmen P. Cuenco; ASDS, Dr. Lourdes G. Dela Cruz; CID Chief, Dr. Robert E. Osongco; EPSvr-English, Dr. Reymar D. Paguio; EPSvr-Filipino, Ma'am Rowena D. Tiamzon together with the helping hands of our school heads, Dr. Maria Linda A. Cayabyab, Ma'am Estrelita P. Bermudo, and the efforts of the Language Department of CATHS Main.

Naging matagumpay ang pangwakas na programa ng Central Azucarera de Tarlac High School-Main para sa dalawang araw na School-Based Press Conference na isinagawa noong ika-15-16 ng Nobyembre, 2022 na may temang "BAGANI: Unleash the Powers of Modern-day Heroes through Writing".

Ang gawain ay nilahukan ng mga mag-aaral na malaki ang interes sa pagsusulat. Sa tulong ng mga g**o sa wika (English at Filipino) na siyang nagsilbing tagapagsalita ng bawat kategorya sa pahayagan, ay naging madali para sa mga young journalist ng CATHS-Main ang pagsulat ng bawat artikulo sa kanilang mga gabay na ibinigay.

100% naman ang ipinakitang suporta ng mga namumuno ng paaralan sa pangunguna ng Punongg**o na si Gng. Maria Linda A. Cayabyab kasama ng kaniyang Kawaksing Punongg**o na si G. Romeo S. Hipolito, maging ang Ulongg**o sa English na si Gng. Agripina D. Gomez at ang mga Dalubhasang-g**o sa English at Filipino na sina Gng. Jocel B. Cayanan at Gng. Josie R. Paras sa programang pinangunahan ng mga punong-abala at parehong Tagapayo ng mga pahayagan ng paaralan sa English at Filipino.

Naging pangwakas na programa ang pagbibigay ng mga sertipiko ng pagkilala sa mga tagapagsalita at mga nagwaging manunulat ng bawat kategorya.

Central Azucarera de Tarlac Highschool Main triumphs 2022 Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing Schools Search

CATHS Main have won a back-to-back first (1st) place award on the Division Search for The Brigada Eskwela Best Implementing Schools over its corresponding schools in Seconday Mega Schools Category, October 6, 2022.

Tied with Special Awards under Brigada Pagbasa Secondary Category, winning the first (1st) place award and first (1st) place award on Home Learning Spaces Secondary Category. Led by Sir Lorenzo Diamzon as the Focal Person in Brigada Eskwela; Ma’am Jocel Cayanan, Ma’am Josie Paras, Ma’am Rosalina Malig, as the Brigada Pagbasa and Numeracy leaders; together with Dr. Maria Linda Cayabyab as the School Head.

Sa kabila ng ulan na dala ng panahon ay hindi nagpahuli ang Paaralang Sekundarya ng Central Azucarera de Tarlac sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa noong ika-31 ng Agosto, 2022 na may temang "Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika: Kasangkapan sa Pagtuklas at Paglikha".

Nagsimula ang programa sa ganap na ika-apat ng hapon na pinasimulan ng makabayang awitin na sinundan ng panalangin. Nagbigay naman ng mensahe ang punongg**o ng paaralan na si Dr. Maria Linda A. Cayabyab na labis na natuwa sa pakikiisa ng mag-aaral sa pagsusuot ng mga katutubong kasuotan. Mas lalong naging makabuluhan ang programa nang mapaunlakan ang paaralan ng isang mensahe mula sa isang batikang manunulat sa Filipino na si G. Patrocinio Villafuerte sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang kaibigan na siya ring dalubg**o sa Filipino ng paaralan na si Gng. Josie R. Paras.

Naging patok naman ang pagpapakita ng mga natatanging kasuotan mula sa mga piling mag-aaral ng baitang 7 hanggang baitang 12 na siyang naging sentro ng kagiliwan ng mga manonood. At mula rito ay pinarangalan ang baitang 12 bilang pinaka may magandang natatanging kasuotan sa lahat ng mga kalahok. Kasama sa pinarangalan sina G. Ronnie Miclat mula sa baitang 8 at Gng. Antonina Lorenzo mula naman sa baitang 7 na mga g**ong nagkamit ng natatanging kasuotan.

Natapos naman ang pagdiriwang sa ganap na ika-lima ng hapon.

Para anumang tulong pinansyal o materyal para sa mga nasabing proyekto, makipag-unayan lamang kay Mr. Lorenzo Balagtas Diamzon (BE Focal Person) o sinumang teaching/non-teaching staff ng CATHS-Main.

Ang CATHS ay patuloy na tutugon sa hamon ng ligtas na balik-aral! 💪
