He is a Chicago native who started Northwest Publishing in 1998. His family also founded Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in 1953, a North Side landmark.

Skip launched Chicago Health in 2010 and Caregiving in 2020. He carries on his family’s proud tradition of providing healthcare services to the Chicago metropolitan area.

In a recent article by Caregiving Magazine, Jocelyn McDonnell, M.A., LCPC, NCC offers insight to the mental health benefits of the pastime of collecting. One of the benefits highlighted is a sense of community.
