The Keith Cheggers Podcast: A Podcast about Pregnancy
Are you pregnant? Have you freaked out about not knowing anything? Join actor Hannah Norris (pregnant) and her husband Carl Donnelly (comedian) as they figure out what is going on over the next nine months. Tracking the weekly progress of Hannah’s pregnancy and chatting with other comedians and actors who are experts* (*have been pregnant**) (**are definitely not doctors) sharing their experiences, tips and stories.
“Keith Cheggers” is rhyming slang for “preggers” which is slang for pregnancy and gives you a sense of the tone of this new show. Hannah and Carl got pregnant with IVF, and at Week 6 of Hannah’s pregnancy started recording this podcast as a way to learn about what the hell is happening as their baby grows and their lives change. And to share all the info they gain from hospital visits, books and friends, as well as their thoughts, observations and fears with listeners who might be experiencing the same thing.
Guest include comedians Felicity Ward, Jess Fostekew, Wendy Wason; performance artist Bryony Kimmings and musician Antonia Pagulatos.
Hannah is an Australian actor appearing in After You at Soho Theatre from 17-22 February. Carl is twice nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award and co-hosts the comedy podcasts Babysitting Trevor, Two Vegan Idiots and his new solo short-form podcast A Comedian Called Carl Drinking Coffee.
