Thanks to the fabulous I have started listening to and I LOVE IT! I want to spend a year studying the things they cover in just one episode. I’ve decided to use a verse from each episode to study using my new journal. God is so much bigger and more interesting than I give Him credit for!
I just finished my first Verse Map with her Happy Mapper course! I’m hooked! I knew I had to order this journal when it popped up on my feed. Not only is it beautiful (which appeals to my artistic side), but it is also very structured (which I need for my ADHD side). It’s is helping me go deep in my Bible (which all my sides need) and reminding me that there’s always more to learn (my teacher side likes that)!

Day 2 - Lesson Learned
2023 was a big learning year for me. One lesson I want to share is this: CREATE FOR YOU!
Other people will see the value in your creativity if your motives for painting are pure. I do enjoy the challenge of a commission, but I really love just painting for the love of creativity!

I attempted a quicker and looser style of approaching this one…not sure I like it.
We love you, , but this is my favorite Joe Burrow! This kid meticulously chose the necklace and the sunglasses, insisted on get his hair “just like Burrow’s” and even practiced his walk. Such a fun Halloween!

This set is special. They will be traveling to the other side of the world to share Jesus! A sweet friend is going on a mission trip and asked me to paint these for her to help illustrate salvation. I’m so honored to be able to contribute to her work!
This set is special! I was totally on my own for this one! A sweet friend is traveling to Nepal for a mission trip. She asked me to paint these for her to teach salvation. Then she told me that a woman she will meet in Nepal had a vision of a spiky black caterpillar, a cocoon, and a white butterfly. Talk about pressure! I’m so honored to have this art travel across the country to share Jesus!

It’s been a while since I’ve been creative just for me. But, I’ve been working on a lot of fun creative projects, including this cute new mascot! I hope I’ll have more paintings to share very soon!
