Happy Monday FINE Fam!!
Unfortunately the audio for our last episode didn't record correctly, and despite it being (in our humble opinions) one of our best episodes to date, we decided that we needed to re-record it this week and release it next Monday instead.
But to tide you over, here is a blooper from the previously recorded episode, coincidentally about "Acceptance."
We blame Hokkaido for leaving us in a post-ramen stupor on this episode.
Tune in next week!

Below is a small clip of our latest episode out now: "I'm F.I.N.E. with Discussing Racial Tension."
We had the honor of sitting down with our friend and President of the Kankakee Chapter of the NAACP, Theodis Pace, about his views on the relationship between mental health and racism, and mental health within the black community. He also shares an exciting initiative, the Kankakee County Community Crisis Response Team, which our cohost Eric is a part of.
The purpose of the KCCCRT is to respond to incidents of civil unrest and events affecting individuals, groups, and communities in Kankakee County. The Crisis Response Team is committed to reducing crime, strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the community, and building on improving policing practices. The CRT goal is to defuse tensions with individuals and those communities involved in the crisis and to understand the crisis better and implement solutions.
All this and more on the latest episode!

Sorry the volume is low, I think my mic is done at this point. I drop my phone daily so it makes sense. 😳
Here is a quick exercise to neutralize your vagus nerve when feeling highly anxious/emotive.
