Now! let's face the real facts of the matter at hand -
It is a palpable lie that Chairman Faisal Dauda unilaterally made the appointments without consulting his fellow Constitituency Executive Committee Members. The first CEC had it first meeting on 24th, October 2022 where 21 members out of the total of 23 CEC participated.
The second CEC meeting was held on the 29th, October, 2022 where the matter of the appointment of the five co-opted members was discussed, approved and certified by a quorum of 17 CEC members. The proof to authentic this publication is the CEC attendance book and the particaipating CEC members.
The plaintiffs were served the meeting notice on the CEC platform and a follow-up phone calls, however, they chose to boycott the meeting. A quorum was formed and the decision was taken.
As law abiding citizens, the 6th Defendant, Chairman Faisal Dauda upon the receipt of the suit immediately went to court to provide all the necessary evidences to support the legitimate and legal appointment he together with his CEC members made and placed a court INJUNCTION on the Sunday, 13th, November 2022 Ashanti regional elections for the leadership of the party to iron out this issues before it de-escalate into uproar as the matter has already began to inflame political passions within the Asawase constituency.
Hon. Faisal Duada remain resolute and focused to unifying the party base in Asawase, hence, remain firm and fair to holding the NDC constitution in high esteem ,thus applying the constitution accordingly in all matters without any fear or favour
Thank you
