During the civil war, when hunger started setting in aggressively.

There was a professor in my neighboring village who studied in Cambridge. He was trapped in the village by the war. With all his money, he was so hungry and had nothing to eat. The only people who still had little were local farmers who respected him, so he felt uncomfortable asking them for food for no one was ready to sell.

Gradually the hunger was hitting all the walls of his belly and he had no choice but to ask.

He walked to his neighbor, Chike, and said.

"Chike, it's been a while nutrients of valuable quantity fell into my stomach. And now my intestine is singing songs of emptiness."

Mr. Chike stared at him and shook his head, not because he had nothing in his store to give him, but he didn't understand what he was saying.

The professor then moved to one of his closes neighbors, Mr. Agu.

"When you see an elegant man walking under the sun, you know he is looking for something." The professor said.

Mr. Agu laughed, "hahahahah, my Cambridge professor."

"Mr. Agu, this thing is clinching too much to my belly, hitting the walls of my belly like tennis, a volcano is seating in my intestine. If you can appreciate my presence with little valuables from your store, I will be grateful." The professor said softly.

Mr. Agu didn't understand a thing the professor said, so he laughed out loud patting the professor on his shoulder and shouting.

"My Cambridge professor."

The professor went back to his house very hungry and slept like that until the next day.

The next morning, he woke up with so much hunger, the worms in his belly were singing.

"Sapa, Sapa, sapa,"

He felt like he was carrying a volcano in his belly, at the same time he felt weakness all over his joints.

As he struggled to come out of his house, he laid on the ground echoing,

"My brothers, my brothers, will you be here and watch hunger kill me, my brothers, my brothers, will you be here and watch hunger kill me."

Mr. Chike, Mr. Agu, and the women in the village ran from north and south of the village to help the professor, at the sound of his voice.

They gave him food and he felt better.

My grandmother used to say,

"When you see a man in problem, still speaking big vocabularies just know he is in a little problem, for when he meets a problem and it gets to his neck, he won't mind who is watching— he will forget his pride and role on the ground to ask for help.

I left my husband's house 6months ago after he cheated on me n had a kid out side.i had my own job xo I Walked away with our three kids n lyf went on.all this time he has been begging to go back bt I never.last week was called in the village n told my husband had an accident n died.i was not surprised bt instead am happy.his clan came n fetched me up from my parents n back to my home I am again.i feel free now.am not even willing to attend the burial I beta book the SGR for a tour in Mombasa with the kids,bt how now.am pretending to be affected bt am not.nitatoa wapi machozi siku ya mazishi atleast nifunge in-laws macho.i hate hm n to hell with hm.am happy amewacha kila kitu for me na watoi wangu.

MAN FOUND "RELAXING" WITH MARRIED WOMAN AT 3AM KILLED BY HUSBAND IN NAKURU

A 3am clash between two men at a house in Nakuru's Kagoto area claimed a life after the man of the house attacked his unwelcome guest with blows before stabbing him to death.

The fracas which woke the neighbourhood started when Micah Nyaberi Bogomba returned to his house unannounced, only to find a strange 34-year-old man relaxing with his wife.

The furious Nyaberi, 39, then demanded for an explanation as to what business Boniface Njagi Maina had with his wife Harriet Vivian Mboga, before landing on him with blows and kicks.

Subdued and seeking to escape with his life, Njagi is reported to have pleaded with Nyaberi to let him have his shoes and leave, but the pleas were met with a stab on his back slightly below the scapula.

On receiving the report, police from Kagoto Patrol Base rushed to the scene, unfortunately finding Njagi's lifeless body lying by the gate in a pool of blood.

In the suspect's house, police also found spattered blood on the walls and house items, which has since been documented by crime scene detectives.

Two suspects; Micah Nyaberi Bogomba and Harriet Vivian Mboga Musumba were
arrested and handed over to DCI Nakuru North detectives for further legal processing.
