Round Lake is one of the most popular and remarkable places for the citizens of Ninotsminda.
It used to be very dirty, so the most beautiful place in town was full of garbage. The water of the lake was decreasing and there were no species of fish.
Today, this place is slowly being restored due to the municipality. The village of Orlovka has been underwater for about two months and now is in more or less good condition. In the evening, citizens walk across the lake. Fishermen are fishing, small children are playing football, young people are walking, taking photos or riding bicycles.
Khoren Bdoyan, a 70-year-old man, is a citizen of the Ninotsminda Municipality. He is an active fisherman, who always goes fishing with his friends. His wife Lusine jokes that Khoren goes fishing in far-away Lake Paravani while he lives near Round lake. Now he can go fishing in Round lake with his grandchildren. The eldest grandson is learning how to fish as he wants to continue his grandfather's business.
The air in the Round lake is clean and there is no garbage. It feels as if nature has breathed a sigh of relief. There is still one species of fish in the lake but they plan to breed more fish in the future.
