I had the honour of being Programme Director at the Mpumalanga Green Innovation Challenge event in Mbombela last week Tuesday. The Top 12 Finalists pitched for top honours on the day and they were all fantastic!

The speakers from government, sponsors, and committed partners working to advance sustainable growth in Mpumalanga touched on the themes of inclusion, intention, dialogue and partnership - and how to make them tangible for all, especially communities in their everyday lives.

It was encouraging to hear more about the necessary and at times challenging work being done on ensuring that there is an inclusive approach taken to Mpumalanga’s green transition, ensuring both economic resilience and climate action.

Thank you to the organising team, partners and finalists for a wonderful time spent, learning from and being inspired by you 💫

My parents and some of my family who watched me grow up, especially in the early years always tell me that I was a quiet child…Adult me is still on the quiet side but sometimes, just sometimes, the person in these pics makes an appearance…nerves, excitement, curiosity and all.

…and yes, we quite like this me too 🎤💕💫

Thank you for the honour of being the host of your inaugural TikTok Publisher Summit in Johannesburg. So much amazing work being done, I learnt a lot about the work behind many of your campaigns, the ideas and strategies, the support being given and also how much more you aim to do!
