Love is … hearing stories like this. One of my dear business colleagues shared with me that his daughter, Madi, read my children’s book, “Love is …” to her 4th grade class. The reviews came back: “They LOVED it.” This is why I invested in making one of my dreams come true two years ago. To think that my words are bringing joy to kids and making them think about love makes it all worthwhile. 💕

One year ago, I unpaused one of my dreams and published my first book. While that felt incredible, the greatest moments of joy I felt came afterwards.

The support from my closest friends and family, of course. But even more impactful, the outreach of support from colleagues - past and present - who have had a quieter presence in my life, yet took the time to share kind words and share their own hopes and dreams.

Life can be busy, and chaotic, and challenging. My wish is that we all slow down enough to make these moments of connection and lift each other up. Personally, it’s the fuel I need to fill up and carry on. Truly what “love is …”

Today was truly a magical day. I had the pleasure of spending the morning with the kindergarten through 3rd grade classes at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Elementary School. What bright and talented children! I will forever remember this day. A special thanks to Mrs. Sarah Boyle and Denise Zemanick for inviting me to participate in RISE.
