The following bands had to drop from the weekend for various reasons: Sinister Feeling, Mean Jesus, Without Peace, and Coalition. In their place, we added: Chained (NC), Mark Of Fatality (Erie, PA), Jewel Tone (Buffalo, NY), and Bad Bet (Hamilton, ON.). Rust also had to move from Friday to Saturday to help accommodate their UK tour that is right around the fest. Tickets are on sale now. We are only selling 200 total. If this sells out, don't say I didn't warn you.

Welcome No Hope to the Enterprise Hardcore Records roster! We will be releasing their demo on cassette in North America. The demo features five songs that will appeal to fans of Modern Life Is War, Verse, and melodic hardcore in general. The demo is currently streaming everywhere. Pre-orders will launch in a few days. You can also listen to an interview that Greg and I did with Sean from No Hope for The Hardcore Archive Podcast. That is also streaming today.
We just wrapped up Eyes Of Salt pre-orders. I still have a couple of test pressings left. I will leave my remaining quantities in the store until they are all gone. Test pressings should be shipping in late July, and the splatter will be shipping in September. International people who order a test and a splatter will receive BOTH records together when they are available.
I will have another international band to announce in a few weeks. Keep sending me new releases.

On Episode 167 of The Hardcore Archive Podcast Greg and Josh are joined by Chris Wrenn from Bridge Nine Records.

Chris discusses the early years of the record label in the mid-90s, the origins of Edge Day and the last Ten Yard Fight show, and how proceeds from the sales of the infamous "Yankees Suck" t-shirts financed some of the early 2000s most significant hardcore albums and provided a foundation for his successful Boston sports paraphernalia company, Sully's Brand. Chris announces a forthcoming book about his experiences running the label and associated businesses.

We hear background stories about some of our favorite @⁠BridgeNine⁠ albums and bands including @⁠NoWarning⁠, Carry On, and @⁠WeAreAmericanNightmare⁠, how Ben Affleck came into possession of the Bridge Nine and @⁠DefeaterHC ⁠sh*ts, and reflections and musings on the once important and unavoidable role message boards played in perpetuating hardcore culture.

Chris updates us on his recent activities with Sully's Brand, the record label and the (relatively) recent addition of the Bridge Nine record store and warehouse. We round out the episode with some highlights on Bridge Nine - Rochester, NY connections through @⁠PolarBearClub⁠ and @⁠SoulControlPVD⁠.

If you have listened to at least a few episodes of this podcast, you have probably heard more than a few references to a Standfast/Building on Fire tour I helped book and tried go on as a roadie in the Summer of 2001. Due to a lot of bad luck, Building on Fire ended up completing that tour separately. While the tour clearly isn't looked at as a success by any means there are still plenty of interesting (and often times funny) moments to discuss. We also took a look at the first album that Building on Fire released on Hex Records. Towards the end of the conversation, we also realized that there is plenty of more to talk about regarding the history of Building on Fire. There will be a part two later this year. We will discuss more of the band's recorded output as well as some more successful tours they went on. Before you watch this episode I strongly recommend watching the Building on Fire tour documentary that Matt (Building on Fire bassist) made for his senior project for RIT after this tour.
