Welcome to my “studio.”
…I used the word “studio” in quotations because it’s not exactly a full-fledged recording studio. Yes, obviously we can make weird music in this house and RECORD it, but I’d like to put the emphasis on something more specific; this is a phase in my current process of growth. I’m learning the ropes, and I’d love to have you along as I attempt to honor the ethos and tradition brought on by friends, family, and local fellow creators where one takes their living quarters, invites people in, incites them toward noise-making, captures it, then converts it back to a quiet living space at the end of the day - back into a home.
So many of my peers have built amazing Recording and Production Studios from scratch, and this project will not only document my growth as an engineer, but will also be used as a tool to promote the growth of others in this awesome little community.
