Hi mate, and thanks for the Forster sighting. I reported something similar not that far away last year on a different page and no one was interested. In late June 2022, I was driving from Newcastle to Port Macquarie, as was my usual weekly trip with work. I would always call into the truck rest area northbound at Nerong Waterholes, approximately 15km south of Bulahdelah around 6am, or just on first light. As per my routine, I would stop at the gate on the left amongst the trucks and have a p*e and a smoke before continuing my journey north.
On this particular morning, I was standing near the gate on the left, looking into the bush when I noticed what I thought was the rear hindquarters of a horse walk behind a tree approximately 30m away. I then saw a head shape pop out the other side of the tree about 7ft up from ground level. It was at this point I realised there shouldn't be any horses in this area so I focused in more.
What happened next was really surprising, as the object I was looking at then did a sort of spider walk to its left (my right) and disappeared into thick scrub. It would have been no more than 2-3ft off ground level. The whole time I heard no movement in the bush.
That's the spot. I was standing a little further in than the guy in the photo, and it walked behind the clump of trees just left of where the gates join. It was just before dawn, so still a little dark.
I remember as a kid 45yrs ago camping at Seal Rocks where there were many legendary Yowie sightings, and I always thought the thick bushland on the southern end of The Lakes Way would be perfect habitat.
Only 30-40kms from Forster as a crow flys.

Yes, 1997 at Hervey Range in Townsville. A friend an I seen running along side a vehicle as we turned a corner and our headlights lit it up. We where doing about 40 klmh and looked like it was about to climb into the back of the moving ute. It them ran across the road after it seen us and was out of sight in about 3 bounds.

Hi Guys, back in Feb 2023 I posted this Yowie sighting, This was sent to me, you can read below. I was accused of posting a fake Yowie sighting by a group of Yowie researchers who say they are experts in the field & very credible,, REALLY. Here is the problem, these so called experts never did any research, no one contacted me for answers, If they did, these accusation would not have happened. What they did, was to believe a guy who I removed from my group, who was trying scam my group, when I caught him, he had a big cry. So one of the members from the expert group who started a post which he called a witch hunt is no longer with that group, I call that KARMA. This guy had me on sp*ed dial, he watched everything I posted, with in seconds he would post his worthless comments in seconds of me posting haha. He would also message me, but no, not this time. Please explain...He & his mate thought this will be the end of me, but it back fired big time lol. All it done was make my group bigger, Cheers Mr Yowie Expert lol. The amount of people who messaged me saying how disgusted they were with these 3 groups who spread these lies & rumors. Hey guys thanx for your support really apricate it.

I should think that if it were standing perfectly upright it would be nearly 5 feet high. It was tailless and covered with very long black hair, which was of a dirty red or snuff-colour about the throat and breast. Its eyes, which were small and restless, were partly hidden by matted hair that covered its head ... I threw a stone at the animal, whereupon it immediately rushed off

784..My husband swears he saw one, camping at a friends house at the foot of the tallarook ranges, vic, about 25 years ago. Him and his 2 friends where camping on his friends property, it was a bright full moon night, and they where camped looking towards the tallarook ranges up on a hill with a valley between them and the ranges. All of a sudden they all saw a human like form that must have been 8 or 9 feet tall running across the top of the hill on the other side of the valley running really fast(my husband estimates at least 60km p/h), faster than any human could run. From the distance they where from it and from the sp*ed and size of it they knew it wasn't human. They all freaked out and went back to the house after that🤣 This was when my husband was about 17, so in the mid 90's. But he still tells the story as fact. They saw something that night. On another occasion they also saw the black panther run across the road in front of them (his friends mum had to slam the brakes on, on a dirt road to avoid hitting it).

Cocklebiddy caves 2016 was human looking black hair about 7 foot tall. I was out looking at the cave seen a shadow move thought I’d go for a closer look ended up falling down the cave and shattering 2 vertebra in my spine fractured my eye socket when I came to I was up and out of the cave laying there by myself

Have I seen a Yowie Bigfoot?? Hell yeah! I started my shift picking apples quite early, earlier than the others as I really appreciated the quietness and stillness of the land at that hour. The farm in Severnlea SE Qld was adjacent to a state forest and one would often notice native animals rustling as they foraged for their breakfast. The morning of 7 January 1963 however, was unusually quiet to the point of creating discord and uneasiness in me. It felt as if all life had been taken from the earth and rather than begin my shift before the scorching sun was upon me, I was compelled to explore my surroundings. As I walked to the end of my row of sweetly scented apple trees, I faced the most frightening looking beast my eyes could ever set upon. Motionless, this ‘thing’ that could only be described as half human, half ape was staring at me. It was mostly covered in hair and it’s long arms hung lifeless at its sides. It stood at least 6 feet tall. I stopped and we continued to stare at each other. Instinctively, I picked an apple from the closest branch and held it out to the creature as I slowly started to walk towards it. Surprisingly, it did not move. I continued to walk towards it with my offering, my arm still outstretched till I was only metres away. All of a sudden, it grabbed the apple out of my hand, uttered a faint ‘thank you’ and disappeared back into the forest. And that my friends is the story of my encounter with a Yowie.

The year was 1968 i was 9yrs old at the time we lived on a farm in the valley we set rabbit traps the day before and were checking them next morning our blue healer dog picked up the scent of something and started chasing it down over a river bank into a lantana patch and then it happened now this dog wouldn’t back down to anyone or thing but he was making an ungodly scream down in the lantana thicket he almost made it to the top of the bank and a swipe from a hairy black paw dragged him back into the bushes of course I made no attempt to save him but run as fast as my skinny legs could carry me back home some where on my bid for freedom I heard heavy raspy breathing behind me don’t look back I screamed inside my head I’ve seen those horror movies but it was almost on me I could almost feel it’s rotting teeth sink into my flesh but then the dog past me with out stopping and ended up in the house under the bed now that dog was not allowed inside ever I made it to the veranda out of breath trying to explain what happened when my mother clip me up the side of the head and said get that dog out yeah sure mum don’t worry about my near death experience but the dog was snapping and snarling but finally got him out he had a large wound on his back and covered in saliva a week later my uncles arrived I told them what happened they went and checked the paddy it happened in and came back with a large foot or hand print in some dried out cow manure the closest thing it resembled was a grizzly bear but the farm was in nsw Australia mid north coast.

Yowie Sighting 15Kms Adelaide
Witness Encounter #767

767..We were heading out of ( Y.C,, I have removed the name of the area due to ongoing investigations, I can say its 15kms from Adelaide ) on NYE just after midnight...We were conducting a paranormal investigation regarding other elements that have been reported there...the hike in and out was about 6kms in total...we left the car at the main gate and walked in as they close the gates at 9pm during daylight saving hours...driving in we would not be able to leave till morning...on our way to the falls I commented while it was still daylight that I felt we were being watched and not of the human variety...there are high rock faces and sloped tree lines surrounding the area with some tracks for hiking...going off track is not an option...at best it would be a foolish choice...heading back to the car park which we made our base from the falls is around 550 metres...it is getting close to midnight and the walk back is amazing due to the amount of wildlife that has emerged with the night...we are all wearing headlights and have stopped filming which I am now kicking myself...as I scan the hillside that is full of trees...I see two yellow/orange eyes...at first I thought oh maybe its a reflector on a path...its pitch black and our lighting is all we have to light the way...I look again and now they are clearly blinking and moving...my response is wtf is that...the tree line in the dark is just visible...my friend comes to look and thinks its a reflector like me...then she sees it blink...she calls out hello...and it moves and pops out behind trees ahead of us...now all three of us are going wtf...the thing that got my attention no noise when this thing moved...no sound nothing it glided in and out of the trees...a total of three times we saw the eye shine and movement then gone...and whatever this was seemed tall given the height of the eye shine...we kept an eye out until we got back to the carpark within the grounds...regrouping in ready for the remainder of the hike out...while one of my friends had a loo break the two of us waited we then heard what sounded like something hitting a tree just a few times...now on the other side of us and much closer...again no noise...no walking nothing...and again another wtf moment...we let our friend know what we just heard and make the decision the head out...the last thing I heard as we started our hike out was someone whistle just once...clearly not an animal...given the content we were investigating this night I am left to wonder if during our communication sessions to connect with energies within the park...did this being also try to connect with us or just let us know it was watching us and letting us know it was time to leave...sorry for the long winded message...I just wanted to cover everything we experienced...we are planning on going back at some point for another investigation at a higher point of the falls...Kindest regards T.....🙏

Bigfoot Sighting South West Rocks - Spencers Creek

764..Yes I seen what I believe was a juvenile Yowie when I was around the age of 14 down in NSW it was about 3-4ft tall and running through long grass approximately 30 metres away from me and my friend who also witnessed it. It had a brown/red hair and we could only see the shoulders and head and we were in the scrub by a creek when we came across the clearing that we saw it in. There has been many sightings in the area for many many years. There are a few documented sightings in Cresent Head, Maria River, Scotts Head, Bellbrook, Stuarts Point, Grassy Head and all over the Macleay Valley. I was on a creek named Spencers Creek when I had an encounter, I don’t even think it saw us it was just running in a clearing. The creek leads onto Macleay River and I was about 300m away from the river on the eastern side of the creek. I was only about 10 metres away from the creek..

HS..Bellbrook is a hot spot. I’ve been told many of stories. Best way to find out where is Bellbrook pub. Also mount Yarrahapinni there have also been sightings and strange things happen best way to access is a back road from Scotts Head to Stuart’s point.

Bigfoot Sighting Townsville Possible

I’m not 100% sure, but a 11ft, hairy as buggery - brown and black man ran past me at high range Townsville in June 2001 Does this count ??

Yowie Chaser, There has been a number of yowie sightings from around Army Bases, Canungra, Greenbank, Tin Can Bay, Ripley, Townsville, Holsworthy & Amberley Air Base.

Anyone from here or surrounding areas had any Yowie / Bigfoot Encounters??

I have traveled around Australia with the sole intention of locating Bigfoot and as yet I haven't sighted him/her. Very elusive indeed.

Yes I have, was down near the colo river nsw. I was only ten years old and had been camping with the oldies. Just remember it being huge.

Yowie Chaser. check this area at, its huge, another place where there has been lots of sightings over the years.

Bigfoot Sighting Batemans Bay to Nowra

Yes, several times. All in the area between Batemans Bay and Nowra, west in the bush. All between 1994 and 2000.

Hey Guys Yowie Chaser, look at our latest hotspot #28 from Nerriga which is just west of these 2 spots.

1 person said they call it the Nerriga Giant.

2nd person, said since the fires, there only just returning & there been eating grapes & licking honey from Banksia.

We get sightings dating back from this area since 1888 lol.😁🧐

Anyone from these 3 areas got any more to add.

Possible Yowie Sighting Failford

720..1983 out the back of Failford, big hairy, stinky bloody thing stalked us all night while I was camping with my cousins. we all caught a glimpse through the evening, hiding in the scrub. could've been my uncle because he smelt the same.... and had a big busy beard, but I'm positive it was a yowie

Please Guys this is a fun day / night out, everyone is welcome to join. The more people we get out, the more chances of a Yowie being spotted. Just remember the best time to see a Yowie is an hour before the sun comes up, another good time is around a camp fire or bbq. The number 1 way to see a Yowie is driving, you never know what is going to cross the road so be ready.

Time - 12.01am
Date - 2nd of April 2023
Location - Go to your local Yowie Hotspot
The Grand Plan - Start of with a bbq early on Sunday morning. Make a lot of noise, to let Mr Yowie know your there. Make sure you post photos of your Yowie Burger here.
Yowie Costume - If you have a fav yowie out fit post some photos here.
After bbq go for a very slow drive, with all windows down, be very quiet, or if your keen go for a hike.
