Sometimes we focus so much on what’s going on outside of ourselves(family, business, clients etc) that we forget that we are more than what’s happening around us. Let’s remember to take some time to just BE. Check in with your inner self. Listen to her. Write down those thoughts and ideas. Read something inspiring. Remember who you are and Who’s you are and stay connected. Never forget to nourish your soul.

3 Things we need to let go of to live MORE life NOW:

1. F.E.A.R- False Evidence Appearing Real - it may feel real but the reality of the situation is God did not give you a spirit of fear. He DID give you power, love and a sound mind. Walk in what your Creator gave you. Leave everything else alone.

2. Anxiety & Worry- A Great Teacher once taught His students not to be anxious about anything and not to worry because worrying about a situation does not change it. Instead of worrying, be thankful, plan and then take action one small step at a time in the direction you want to go in.

3. Procrastination & Perfection: When we delay making a decision or doing the work, because it's something we don't want to do, or want to be so perfect, we find ourselves in an endless cycle that prevents us from making progress. Do it ugly, do it scared, then make adjustments and improvements as you go along.

The difference between working a 9-5 and entrepreneurship is the certain degree of freedom you experience that allows you to prioritize what means the most to you.

Don't get it twisted now, it may be a lot more work but it is worth it to have the ability to schedule your time and be flexible when necessary.

The trucking industry is not glamorous. It takes sacrifice, hard work, a great team, determination and resilience. There are ups (fuel), downs (rates), inspections, audits, breakdowns, regulations and paperwork along the way. Some days you wonder "why am I doing this?" who's idea was this anyway?! "is this even worth it?"
For me, I have to say, taking that huge step of faith and leaving my public school pre-k teaching job in 2021 to work full time in our business is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Despite all that we go through as business owners in this industry I would do it again. Reflecting on 2022 I am truly blessed! I have learned so much from you guys' expertise and experiences. THANK YOU.

For those of you who feel like life has more to offer and you are just existing, not truly living, my goal is to help women find their place in the trucking industry. I want to encourage you, to consider the opportunities that lie ahead of you. You too can take a step of faith & purpose and start your company. It doesn't have to be driving a truck. There are MANY options in trucking. You WILL succeed IF you DON'T QUIT. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve and am looking forward to an awesome 2023 with you all!
