Counter Attack is now accepting submissions for Volume Two.

Those interested may submit drafts to info[at]counterattackjournal.org. October 31 is the current draft submission deadline for inclusion in Volume Two.

We welcome submissions written from a standpoint in broad agreement with our About Statement and the Note from the Editors published in Volume One.

-All submissions should be signed either with the authors legal name or a consistent pen name.

-Submissions must be fully referenced with author, date and page citation in endnotes and a complete concluding bibliography of works cited.

- Single spaced, Times New Roman docx files are preferred.

-Theoretical and polemical work, historical research, translations and analytical reflections on contemporary sequences of political intervention in the workers movement are encouraged. We are especially interested in the critique of democratic socialism as the main enemy of proletarian politics today.

"If the struggle towards the construction of the proletarian party today must be waged materially by challenging the domination of the reformist bureaucratic machinery within the workers movement it must be waged ideologically through a systematic attack on all the theoretical formulations which legitimise the operations of this machinery. And the more such formulations appear as “left” or “militant” to a superficial observer the more dangerous they are to the accumulation of forces around the construction of proletarian politics."

"What is a matter of settled principle for communists is the need for any united front or entryist policy to be guided by the integral communist program of proletarian dictatorship and to be implemented for the purpose of breaking down the cohesion of social democracy while winning new forces for this program. Deviation from this purpose reduces communists to the tailist “left” of the “formless united bloc” which the Comintern warned would be the certain result of any united front policy not premised in a complete break with centrism."

"The KPD Central still considers military work as a “seasonal” activity which one occasionally engages in. This led to the mistakes which have been made in this work up to now and are still being made. The contemporary experiences of the struggles in Germany are not taken advantage of at all. It is to be concluded from the expressions of various members of the Central, that this work whose necessity is obvious, is still not understood in the total significance it demands."
