three sisters, three vastly different highschool experiences.

in the second episode of products of divorce, gee & bell welcome their younger sister, jojo, onto the pod to talk about high school. there's a lot of laughter, some sisterly bickering and fun-poking, and reflection on our four years at our respective high schools. we share memories, cringy moments, and look back at times that made us cry that now bring us to tears from belly laughing so hard.

gianna, or gee, is a 23 year old graduate and alumni of coastal carolina university in conway, south carolina. she holds two bachelor degrees in theatre studies & communications and is currently working as a full time bartender with plans to move to colorado in january. she is a cat mom to two cats, named adelaide and athena, and her interests involve her crystals, listening to noah kahan & making playlists, hockey, nature and writing. she is very spiritual and into all things zodiac, chakras, and inner exploration.

gee has wanted to do a podcast for years but she wanted to have it mean something. gee is a huge advocate for all things mental health and has always been the 'therapist' friend. ❛ i wish i would have had something like this to listen to when my parents split up...it was really hard on me. i want to show others that they aren't alone in their struggles— life's hard, and i still don't know what i'm doing, but that's OK!❜

bella brockriede is a 20 year old student attending florida southern college in lakeland, florida. she is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in elementary education and is a member of the alpha chi omega sorority. while she is a huge girly girl, she is also a massive new york giant's fan and follows football religiously to the point where she could coach the team herself. bella enjoys beauty, reading, photography, and listening to music; specifically, country music and pitbull. ❛ my music type is like.. throwback 2009-2012 music... not harlem shake though, that's where it cuts off. ❜

through this podcast, bella wants to continue helping and talking to people- a passion of hers since she was a sophomore in high school- and make a statement for people who have gone through similar things as herself. ❛ we've had a lot of trauma, but there was also a lot of good. we have a lot of stories & we want to share them.❜

every once and a while over the last two years, i’d text bella suggesting we should start a podcast…. and now we’re finally doing it🤍✨🍷

we want this podcast to feel like we are all on a group facetime call just laughing and gossiping about all sorts of things. we wanted it to be a safe place, full transparency, for us to vent and reminisce and laugh about growing up with separated parents amongst other things.

the name ‘products of divorce’ came about because it’s always been a running joke between us and our siblings. you’re a product of your environment and all that. our parents splitting up had a different impact on all of us, and i imagine our lives would have been so much different had they had stayed together, at least i know mine would have.

this is a topic we felt a lot of people in our demographic could relate to, as well as older folks who had gone through it too. hence the name: a humorous take on a situation that impacts families all over. - gee🤍
