INSPIRATION:
We celebrate many milestones through the course our lives! Anticipation fills our heart on the first day of school, the first day on a new job or the first time driving alone. We experience pure joy over the birth of our first child or the purchase of our first home. Changes are usually met with a little anxiety because we aren’t quite sure what the future holds. Let us remember that God is always present as we celebrate each new beginning. He calms our hearts as the future unfolds.
PRAYER:

INSPIRATION:
Light and dark simply cannot be combined. Sin is the darkness that separates us from God and this did not please Him so He sent Jesus. Jesus’s death on the cross paid the price for all our sins. He was the ultimate sacrifice, our light in the darkness. The sin abounding in our lives will be abolished and we will be united in eternity once again.
PRAYER:
Dear God, we walk in the darkness of sin without You. Thank you for sending your Son to die on calvary and pay the ultimate price for our sin. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

INSPIRATION:
It’s difficult to be a Christian parent in the world today. There are multiple temptations for our children when they use the internet, turn on the television, view social media, or see casual advertisements at the store. Sins are downplayed and overtime our little ones may become desensitized to the danger scripture warns us to avoid. God shows us how to intervene when our children stumble. We must forgive, shower them with unconditional love and clothe them with spiritual protection.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, please help us give unconditional love to our children when they stumble, just as you have given to us time and time again. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

INSPIRATION:
Our sins grieve the Lord because Sin is the darkness that separates us from God. When we choose to walk our own way instead of living our lives according to God’s will, we are choosing to separate ourselves from Him. He becomes saddened at the thought of being rejected by His children. We must take an honest look at the sins lurking in our thoughts and seek guidance to rid ourselves of the sins that separate us from our heavenly Father.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, give me strength and courage to introduce You to my family. They need You. I want to speak to them about You. Help me to tell them about You well. Help me to answer questions they have and to try to find them the answers I don't know. Soften their hearts. Only You can bring them to You, so please do so. In Jesus' name. Amen.

We deny our true selves to others. We don’t want to admit how impatient or angry we get. We don’t anyone to know that we become jealous or have hateful thoughts. God knows our true hearts. We don’t have to fear when it comes to admitting our true feelings to Him. He knows our sins before we speak and grants forgiveness when we ask. His grace is sufficient for all.

It’s impossible to forget we are sinners. All of us have made poor life decisions or sinned against God, causing hurt to people we love. Regret over our sinful nature is natural but we must remember that Jesus paid it all so that we may be forgiven. God’s love is unconditional, the slate is wiped clean when we ask for forgiveness in Jesus’ name.

But we, who are in Christ know, have an even better understanding of the goodness of the Lord, and this should move us to want more of him in our lives.
