My heart is with what’s been going on in Uvalde, but I refuse to pressure anyone to talk if they don’t want to. I’ve put the offer out there and the door is always open. So for now I’ve decided to move forward and talk about some topics on my mind and heart. I’m planning on starting that this week. What’s the topic?? Well, I’m gonna get a little political and talk about the state of our country currently and my opinion on things. I’m currently lining up my guest to talk about it so I’ll keep you all posted. May 24th of this year is a day burned into our brains and it’s never going to go away! The small unknown community of Uvalde, TX was changed forever because of a monster with a gun. The story being told on our televisions every night is not the full story however. I come from this small community and have a family that was directly effected by this tragedy. However, all I saw on the news was the horror of the situation and not saying the situation wasn’t horrifying. However, there was more going on and I knew about it directly. I knew this community was uniting to be there for one another in the midst of this tragedy. Yet, the media was refusing to show this to the world. I’d had enough! I had to do something and I knew I could try by bringing these stories through a podcast. We’ve gotten off to a great start with 2 heart wrenching and inspiring stories being told. We heard from Brett Cross who’s the father of Uziyah. Plus we heard from Louella who’s been a part of the Uvalde community her whole life. These stories showed us heartache but most importantly perseverance in the face of impossible adversity. I hope to continue these stories. So I reach out to you the family and close friends in Uvalde. Do you want your story told? Reach out to me and let’s make this happen.
