This video will feature of what I think and what the reasons were why the game Marvel Super War led to its downfall. All of this is base solely on my assumptions and opinion.

This saddens me greatly as I have started this channel for the reason this game existed. Now it's closing its doors for good. I hope there will be someone who will continue this work as this is a good game but managed in my opinion poorly. This game had lots of potential but was not utilized for whatever reason.

Let's delve into the downfall of Marvel Super War, analyzing each factor I have listed in my opinion.

Lack of marketing: Marvel Super War suffered from a critical lack of effective marketing. Despite having the potential to attract a wide audience with its combination of the immensely popular Marvel universe and the MOBA genre, the game failed to garner sufficient attention due to inadequate promotional efforts. Compared to other games in the genre, Marvel Super War struggled to make its presence known in the crowded mobile gaming market, resulting in missed opportunities to engage potential players and build a thriving community.

Matchmaking issues: The game's matchmaking system was a significant source of frustration for players. Rather than optimizing the player experience by merging servers to ensure quick and fast matchups, Marvel Super War struggled with imbalanced matchmaking, often leading to unfair matchups and unsatisfying gameplay experiences. This failure to address matchmaking issues contributed to player dissatisfaction and a decline in player retention over time.

Diminishing content updates: As a live service product, Marvel Super War relied on a steady stream of content updates to keep players engaged and invested in the game. However, over time, players noticed a gradual decline in the frequency and quality of content updates. This lack of meaningful updates and new content diminished the game's appeal and failed to provide players with fresh experiences and challenges, ultimately leading to player attrition and a decline in active player numbers.

: Marvel Super War implemented a paywall for accessing certain heroes, effectively locking desirable content behind a pay-to-win barrier. This monetization strategy alienated many players who were unwilling or unable to spend money on in-game purchases, creating a divide between paying and non-paying players and undermining the game's integrity and fairness. As a result, players felt discouraged and frustrated by the game's pay-to-win mechanics, leading to a loss of trust and confidence in the game's developer.

Expensive gotcha mechanics: In addition to pay-to-win mechanics, Marvel Super War introduced expensive and exploitative gotcha mechanics, such as gacha pulls, which offered players a chance to obtain rare items or skins for a high price. These mechanics preyed on players' desire for exclusive content and rewards, encouraging excessive spending and fostering a sense of gambling within the game. As a result, players felt exploited and manipulated by these predatory monetization practices, further eroding their trust and goodwill towards the game.

Misallocation of resources: Marvel Super War wasted resources on unnecessary or underutilized features, such as the Observation Space, which detracted from the development of more essential aspects of the game. This misallocation of resources resulted in a lack of focus and direction, leading to a awful player experience. By failing to prioritize the most critical aspects of the game, such as gameplay balance and content updates, Marvel Super War squandered opportunities to improve and evolve over time, ultimately contributing to its downfall.

Removal of rank skin incentives: Finally, the removal of rank seasonal skin incentives deprived players of meaningful rewards and incentives for progressing through the game's ranking system. Rank skins provided players with tangible rewards for their dedication and skill, serving as a symbol of achievement and status within the game's community. However, their removal deprived players of a key motivator for engagement and progression, leading to a loss of interest and investment in the game's competitive aspects.

In conclusion, the downfall of Marvel Super War can be attributed to a combination of factors, including inadequate marketing, matchmaking issues, diminishing content updates, pay-to-win and exploitative monetization mechanics, misallocation of resources, and the removal of rank seasonal skin incentives. Together, these factors eroded player trust and goodwill towards the game, leading to a decline in player engagement and ultimately contributing to its demise.

In my opinion the adjustments are great as it is more forgiving playing him as a hero and you can even try to play him as a jungle also as his passive can now be applied to jungle monsters.
