Sebei is a very blessed region. In the previous years(before the 21st century), many people only looked at the Sabiny as a primitive tribe with backward cultures like Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM). As time unfolded, we emerged as the best if not the only tribe in Uganda which could produce athletes especially long distance runners for the nation. We say thank you for the unwavering commitment of the Sports team in Sebei which helped in identifying and grooming such sportsmen and women. As we talk, many cultures are also admiring the Sabiny cultural wears. In fact, many tribes in central and other parts of Uganda admire this cultural dressing. We thank those promoting our heritage and preserving the integrity of the Kalengin people in Uganda. Beautiful weekend our people. -kirkit
