This episode, we are in the presence of Lee Syafiq, owner of AshesBurnnit, a culinary brand that has expanded from a single hawker store, to multiple branches all over Singapore, serving mouthwatering burgers and western delicacies.

Syafiq shared with us about how he navigated through his education and eventually succeeded in becoming a Chef. How did he adapt from working in a Michelin star restaurant, to running his own hawker business.

Syafiq also planted the flag of his brand in the Big Apple, and he tells us about the experience, stories and lessons learnt from his stint in New York with AshesBurnnit.

Today we have Fadhil, a nurse from Singapore who’s currently based in Melbourne. He documents his relocating experience on his Tik Tok, .abroad.diaries.

We spoke to him about the experience and challenges of relocating to Melbourne. He also shared about his experiences being a nurse in Singapore and in Australia. Fadhil also got himself certified as a football coach whilst in Australia. More interestingly, he walked us thru about his humanitarian work in Uganda.

We had an intimate chat with a legend of Kampong Glam, Bhai Asgar Rai Azmi. Bhai Asgar is the owner of the famed corner teh tarik stall in Kampong Glam & Arab Street, Bhai Sarbat. Now with a brand new restaurant (a stone's throw away from his original shop) serving traditional Indian Food, Bhai sets his eyes on a global domination of his brand.

He shared with us about his struggling early days in Singapore, working in Mustafa Centre and taking up odd jobs as an ad-hoc electrician. He also talked about the challenges he faced in a "qualification-driven" society in Singapore. He faced a considerable setback with his business during the Circuit Breaker. Not one to be fazed by the popping up of hipster food in Kampong Glam, Bhai Asgar even dishes out brilliant words for aspiring entrepreneurs
