Hey Bristow....are we ready? The depot is already getting tons of Route 66 tourists from all over the world and in 2026, it's going to be crazy. They love our historic Main Street and small-town feel. AND they have cash to spend. According to Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell, "Fifty-two percent of sales tax collected in Oklahoma is from a community that has a portion of Route 66."

The economic impact of Route 66 is immeasurable for our community, and they are coming! We're scrambling at the depot to get ready but encourage other local businesses to put up a Route 66 sign in your window and give them a reason to stop by your place too! Stroud and Sapulpa are getting complete Main Street overhauls and Bristow has so much going for us too.

The 100th anniversary of Route 66 isn't until 2026 but these tourists are coming early to make the drive and enjoy the sights. Let's give them a reason to stay awhile in Bristow!
