I just found out the Cyphers in MGS2 were a real thing! 🤯
I always thought this thing was just made up for the game, because back in 2001 nobody really knew anything about drones, and this looked exactly like the kind of fictional tech you'd expect in Metal Gear.

Finally got my Metal Gear Ray model kit today. Can't wait to build it 😁

The CMOS battery in my PS2 is dead, which means the clock is forever stuck at 1/1/2000 at 12am, and can't be adjusted.
Sadly this also means the iconic glowing orbs no longer spin, because those are actually tied to the clock.

I got curious to see if I could get through this door, and I managed to softlock myself 😂
Lesson learned: Don't use speedrun strats on doors you need a card for.

God Ames is real! 🤯 Ames is pure RNG in a speedrun of MGS2, so I got a nice stroke of luck in the middle of a terrible run.
