OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVED THE SELECTION OF PRINCE SULAIMAN BAMGBADE AS THE NEW OLOFIN OF ISHERI (THE SOURCE OF AWORI KINGDOM)

An ICT expert and specialist, Prince Sulaiman Bamgbade of the Ayodele Edun-Alaka Royal Family of Isheri Olofin has been approved as the new Olofin of Isheri. The new Olofin who is an Ex-boy, also a retired Soldier, was formerly in the Lagos State Civil Service.

The ratification of Prince Sulaiman by the Ogun State Executive Council presided over by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, the Executive Governor of Ogun State at the Executive Council’s meeting, was in accordance to laid-down procedure and official government status on Obaship as stipulated in the Chiefs Law, Laws of Ogun State, Nigeria.

With this announcement, Sulaiman Bamgbade has entered the history books and recognized as the 20th Olofin of Isheri-Mole; the Adimula of Aworiland and progenitor of all Awori descendants at home and in the Diaspora.

Further announcement in respect of the coronation rites and other traditional activities would be made public soon
