It’s running alongside all the regularly-scheduled programming at Ultimate Callout Challenge 2024—which includes the ODSS Outlaw Diesel Revenge race.

Here's the new body that got unveiled! Sorry, if it hurt anyone's feelings but we feel it turned out great!

In regards to the 2024 International Monster Truck Museum’s Spring Monster Motor Show

The IMTM commissioned one of its biggest supporters Brandon Overmeyer to run a special body as a tribute to the original King Kong monster truck. At the 2023 monster motor show Jeff Dane donated his original King Kong monster truck to the museum. The IMTM misunderstood the fine print and believed that we could use the name for promoting the museum.

The IMTM was excited to work with Brandon Overmeyer and crew to create a diesel tribute truck to honor a legend, he did not do this to live off of someone else’s legacy. This was purely a promotion for the museum.

The IMTM and myself included, would like to apologize to any who might have been hurt in this matter. The IMTM and Brandon Overmeyer will not be running this King Kong tribute body in the future and I personally want to say I’m sorry to Brandon, his family and crew for getting them involved in this misunderstanding. Brandon Overmeyer and his crew all work very hard to be a professional team and we hope that this will not hurt their reputation in any way.

The IMTM has been very honored to have Brandon and his team represent and support the museum and I hope that they will stay involved with our organization.
