This is How Sugar Sounds.
I started this podcast in college that was a dream of mine for many years. I wanted a platform to share my stories and the stories of others. A space to hear new ideas, share opinions, laugh, and talk about whatever we wanted. Some things you may not agree with but for the sake of conversation and understanding we are going to explore different ideas. The idea to do a podcast had been on my mind but I never pursued it out of fear. Fear that no one would listen, fear that it would never go anywhere, and fear that I would be judged. Finally with the help of my roommate and friends I went for it. The inspiration behind the name was that sugar and salt look the same. To never judge a book by the cover essentially because you have no idea what you are going to get until you try it. I also love sugar skulls and my Mexican heritage which is why I drew our logo with the help of others to make it truly our own. A celebration of conversation. We hope you enjoy!
