WEBTOON UPDATE: SOLO LEVELING IS GETTING AN ANIME ADAPTATION?
There are 'rumors' spreading that the light novel "Only I Level Up" also known as "Solo Leveling" is getting an anime adaptation. However, there is no official announcement posted yet.
It is said that on a Chinese microblogging website, Weibo a very reliable user confirmed that Solo Leveling is going to receive an anime announcement in the upcoming days.

MANHWA UPDATE: SOLO LEVELING ENDED
The webtoon ended at chapter 179. However, there are still 27 remaining chapters of the novel which are the side-stories. It is unsure if it will be adapted or not.

Thank you for loving our series despite its flaws. As I took on solo leveling as a new challenge, I was able to learn a lot of things. I'm really happy and also sorry at the same time for the love that we've received this whole time.
In our journey to bring this series to an end, I would like to thank all our artists who have helped me, Park Mogoon who helped me by himself in season I and Lee Mogoon who helped me by doing two people's work temporarily for one to two months. The both of them have done a lot as they wanted this series to do well. I would like to take this time to say that, without the passion and help from the two of them, I wouldn't have been able to come up with such a good series. I would like to thank them for it.
Especially to Lee Mogoon, who was a colleague that was more important than anyone else, the most important colleague. 📃 ILLEGAL 'SCANLATION' OF WEB COMICS OVERSEAS FRUSTRATES KOREAN CREATORS
The rampant growth of illegal "scanlation": of web comics overseas is causing growing financial and psychological damage to Korean creators. Scanlation, a portmanteau of scan and translation, is a fan-fueled online posting of translated comics without the consent of the copyright holder.
And some artists fall victim to severe cyberbullying for speaking up for their property rights.
"Some illegal translators and readers bombard me with slander, abusive language, and insulting images, because I speak out against illegal scanlation on social media," says YD, a Lezhin Comics creator.
The Korean government and Interpol initiated a three-year-long cooperative investigation in April. The investigation aims to arrest the individuals who are engaging in illegal distribution of Korean contents and to confiscate derived profits, according to Pyo Gwang-jong, an official in charge of Copyright Protection Division at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Naver Webtoon will work together with entertainment agency HYBE and DC Comics to create original content.
Webtoon plans to create webtoons or web novels in collaboration with various artists from HYBE, including BTS. Naver also will create original webtoons using DC Comics' worldview/characters.
Back in 2019, Webtoon partnered with multi-awarded pop group to publish a comic titled "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 0: Save Me" which featured characters based on BTS' members.
