The Montreal Canadiens lost another brutal one, 6-3 to the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final at the Bell Centre, and now trail 3-0 in the series. But I was at the game with Brother Langerr, and I wanted to share how awesome our experience was at the first ever Stanley Cup Final game at the Bell Centre!!!

That one hurt. The Montreal Canadiens outplayed the defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 2. But they only scored one goal on Andrei Vasilevskiy despite firing 43 shots on net, and could not overcome a neutral zone blunder as the 2nd period ended, nor a gaffe by Joel Edmundson behind the net in the 3rd. Result: A heartbreaking 3-1 loss and a 2-0 deficit in the series heading back to Montreal.

Here we are! The Montreal Canadiens are in the Stanley Cup Final!!! ...but they came out pretty flat in Game 1 against the defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning and lost 5-1. On top of the loss, there were some pretty ugly moments in the third period of this game and I broke it all down here in my Habs-Lightning postgame show!

The Montreal Canadiens played a good first period in front of a full crowd for the first time all season. But they had no answer for VGK's big three of Alex Pietrangelo, Shea Theodore and Alec Martinez, as Vegas prevailed 4-1 in Game 1. I broke it all down here in my Habs-VGK postgame show! The Montreal Canadiens played a phenomenal game to beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-3 and take a 1-0 lead in the series. But it all got ruined by Mark Scheifele's dirty hit on Jake Evans while he was scoring the empty-netter. Just like with John Tavares in Game 1 of Round 1, all we can do is give our best wishes to Jake Evans. But unlike the JT incident which was accidental, this was a dirty hockey play and Scheifele should be disciplined to the fullest extent for his actions.

Carey Price was lights out once again in Game 3 with numerous highlight-reel saves, most notably on Jason Spezza in the first period, then Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner in the 2nd. But for the third game in a row the Habs only managed to score one even strength goal, were shutout on the powerplay, and fell 2-1 to the Leafs as a result on both the scoreboard, and in the series. Jesperi Kotkaniemi replaced an injured Jake Evans and responded right away by giving the Habs the first goal for the second game in a row! But it all fell apart from that point forward with the Leafs scoring 5 unanswered goals, giving them the 5-1 win in Game 2 and tying the series at 1-1. It was a frustrating game indeed and I broke it all down here in my Habs-Leafs postgame show!

This one hurt. The Habs scored the first goal for the first time in six games, and scored the second one as well. But the Leafs answered with three consecutive goals in the third, and cruised to the 3-2 win. Defensive backs Elijah Molden and Ifeatu Melifonwu were still on the board for Dallas at the end of the third round. But instead, the Cowboys reached for 6'4 CB Nahshon Wright, who was graded as a 6-7th round player on many boards. Of course, BOTH Molden AND Melifonwu were selected in the two picks that followed to conclude a very odd Day 2 for the Cowboys.

It was a difficult third round for the Cowboys who - after losing out on Horn, Surtain and Moehrig - lost on nose tackle Alim McNeill, who would've fit perfectly for what the Cowboys need to fix on their interior defensive line. Instead McNeill went to Detroit 3 picks ahead of Dallas, who at least managed to address their DT need with Osa Odighizuwa at 75. They then reached a bit for defensive lineman Chauncey Golston at 84.
