What is a pixel?

Great question! A pixel is a piece of code put onto your website that collects data and communicates with an ad account.

What does that mean?

It enables you to follow up with your website visors and actually track the actions people take on your website (e.g. completing a purchase, adding to their cart, clicking read more etc.)

This makes your ads more effective and helps you get a better return on investment!

A pixel is so important for remarketing which is THE MOST powerful tool a business can use. (Stay tuned for more info on remarketing.)

Before you start running ads, you want to make sure you have some fire going in your business. This will ensure you get the best results you can from your ads!

Know your ideal client: Not every human on the planet is the right client for you. Know who you are talking to, who you are trying to reach, and how your product/service addresses their needs or pain points

Know how to sell your product or service: Where? Who? Price? Are people interested in it?

You have sold your product/service: This goes back to throwing gasoline on sticks versus a fire. If you have not actually sold your product or service to anyone yet, you might not be ready to run ads.

My name is Carlee. I am the CEO of "Marketing with Carlee" (Obviously right? 😉)⁠

I wanted to introduce myself and share some fun facts about me!⁠

- I am a wife and mother to two beautiful babies. ⁠
- I am a dual citizen with Canada and the US. I lived most of my life in Alberta, Canada. But my husband and I moved to Florida a few years ago and love it, but definately miss the snow!⁠
- I have my bachelors in Nursing and worked as an ICU nurse up until my first baby was about 8 months old. Around that time is when the pandemic started and I didn't want to risk bringing anything home to my baby so we decided I would stay home full time.⁠
- I love people and helping people. My energy is recharged by being around and talking with others. (Hence why I went into nursing, and why I am now in a service based business)⁠
- I have 5 years experience as an online business owner but decided my knowledge and expertise would be better placed helping other businesses!⁠
