It is here. Opening Day 2021. After the craziness of last year, part of me is excited. I should be. A full season of games, some fans in the stands! Opening day for me always signals hope! Hope for what could be despite all evidence that says it’s fools hope. Maybe I watched too many baseball movies as a kid. There are a bunch of games and all it takes is to get a few lucky breaks and you win. It’s is a day when what you know doesn’t matter. Play Ball!
