DDPM coordinates with all provinces to cope with flooding in natural tourist attractions and coastal areas, recommends relevant agencies to warn, block, and prohibit tourists from entering the area, and put up flags prohibiting swimming.

On August 14, 2024, Mr. Chaiwat Junthiraphong, Director-General of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), revealed that from monitoring the flood situation and its impacts since the beginning of the rainy season in 2024, it was found that flooding occurred in natural tourist attractions, such as waterfalls, caves, islands, rapids, and coastal areas affected by strong winds and waves hitting the shore in many areas, which caused a great deal of damage to the lives and property of both the public and tourists.

In order to prepare for flooding in natural tourist attractions and coastal areas, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has coordinated with all provinces to prepare for flooding in natural tourist attractions and coastal areas. By strictly following the orders of the National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Command (NDPC) and the Central Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Command (NDPCK) during heavy to very heavy rain in the area, officers must be dispatched to monitor and follow the situation 24 hours a day.

For natural tourist attractions such as national parks, waterfalls, caves, Tham Lod caves, islands, and rapids, coordinate with responsible agencies to determine surveillance measures, warnings, closures, and prohibitions against tourists from entering the specified areas. In the event of strong waves, coordinate with the Harbor Department, the Royal Thai Navy, and the local marine police to warn both passenger and fishing boat operators to sail with caution and comply with safety measures during strong waves, such as taking boats to shelter and completely refraining from sailing.

Man Driving a 6-Wheeler Stops to Refuel, Hears a Noise, and Collapses Upon Discovering a Tragedy

At 6:00 AM on August 5, 2567, Lieutenant Kriengkrai Srimai, Deputy Inspector of Investigation at Khlong Luang Police Station in Pathum Thani Province, received a report of a fatal accident involving a 6-wheeled truck running over a person. The incident occurred at a gas station along the inbound Phahonyothin Road in Khlong Nueng Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. Authorities immediately rushed to the scene, accompanied by rescue teams from Thakhong Municipality, volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, traffic police from Khlong Luang Police Station, and a forensic doctor from Thammasat University Hospital.

At the scene, near the second fuel pump, they found a white Hino truck with the license plate 70-5202 Phitsanulok, fully loaded with goods, parked at the station. In front of the pump, a station employee was found dead with head injuries caused by being run over by the truck's wheels. The deceased was identified as Mr. Sotun, a 51-year-old Myanmar national.

Mr. Krisana, the 46-year-old truck driver, stated that he had stopped to refuel with 2,000 baht worth of diesel. After completing the refueling, he personally closed the fuel cap, while his wife scanned to make the payment. Once the transaction was completed, he drove off, only to hear a noise that sounded like the vehicle had run over something. Upon inspection, he found that he had run over the station employee. He speculated that the employee may have fainted or fallen, as it was the rear wheels that caused the fatal injuries. His truck, loaded with 9 tons of bamboo shoots from Phitsanulok, was en route to the Rama 2 area. The deceased was likely the person who scanned to process the payment.

Lieutenant Kriengkrai Srimai, the investigating officer from Khlong Luang Police Station, stated that they had recorded the scene and interviewed the driver involved in the incident. The driver has been summoned for further questioning and to press charges. Meanwhile, volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation have transported the deceased's body to Thammasat University Hospital for a post-mortem examination, awaiting the family's retrieval for religious rites.

Wat Ratchaburana Bustles as Families Seek Blessings for Mother's Day
During the extended Mother's Day weekend, spanning Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, tourist attractions across the nation experienced a significant surge in visitors. Religious sites, especially temples, witnessed a notable increase in foot traffic as numerous families accompanied their mothers to offer prayers and seek blessings.
Wat Ratchaburana was no exception. A considerable number of devotees flocked to the temple to pay homage to the revered Luang Pho Thongdam. Furthermore, they participated in a traditional hand-blessing ceremony known as "jem mon nam mant," presided over by Phra Kru Sittitham Vibhach, the temple's abbot. This ritual, involving the chanting of sacred mantras and the application of holy water to the hands, is believed to bestow blessings of good fortune, prosperity, and well-being.
According to the abbot, an estimated 800 to 1,000 people visited the temple daily during the three-day holiday to perform acts of merit, offer prayers, and receive the sacred hand blessing.

**News – Phitsanulok Confirms Discovery of New Dinosaur Footprints at Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, Dated to the Early Cretaceous Period, About 120 Million Years Ago**

The Director of the Conservation Area Office 11, along with the Department of Mineral Resources, has conducted an on-site inspection and confirmed the discovery of new dinosaur footprints at Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park. The footprints are imprinted on a sandstone and mudstone plateau, classified in the Phu Phan formation, dating back to the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 120 million years ago.

On August 2, 2024, Mr. Komet Puttason, Director of the Conservation Area Office 11, visited Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park along with a team from the Geology Office Region 2, geological experts, Ms. Butsaya Petchma, Assistant Head of Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, park officials, and the initial discoverers—a family of nature enthusiasts. They reported discovering these traces back in 2020 and had since sought verification. The inspection focused on a rock plateau in the camping area of Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, where the footprints resembling those of dinosaurs were found. This discovery gained attention on social media, prompting Mr. Lamyong Srisewok, Head of Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, to coordinate with the Department of Mineral Resources for academic verification.

Preliminary inspections by the Department of Mineral Resources have confirmed these are indeed dinosaur footprints. They are imprinted on sandstone and mudstone, part of the Phu Phan formation, from the Early Cretaceous period, about 120 million years ago. The footprints span approximately 2,500 square meters, with over 10 individual footprints identified, showing at least two distinct walking paths. Most footprints belong to bipedal carnivorous dinosaurs, medium to large theropods, with clear imprints of three toes on each foot. The team will conduct further surveys and gather scientific data to develop the site as a geologically educational natural tourist attraction.

Poll Shows Support for "Prayut" Due to Honesty and Integrity, Plans to Offer Clean Records to Non-Corrupt Individuals

Super Poll indicates that people support “Prayut” for his honesty and integrity, moral politics, and his ability to lead the nation out of crises. 64.4% stated they will vote for honest, unblemished candidates. Watch as "Ruam Thai Sang Chart" experiences exponential growth.

On February 12, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Noppadol Kannika, head of the research project at Super Poll Research Center (SUPER POLL), revealed a survey on “Prayut and Political Morality.” The study involved 1,035 small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) business operators across the country between February 8-11. When asked about the political morality of Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha, 80.5% cited honesty and integrity, 74.5% noted his self-sacrifice and endurance in shouldering national burdens and solving national issues, 74.4% mentioned his diligence, perseverance, and effort, 74.3% recognized his responsibility, and 62.0% acknowledged his capability and competence.

When comparing the political morality between previous Prime Ministers and the current Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha, 44.8% stated that General Prayut exhibits greater political morality, while 29.0% said less, and 26.2% saw no difference. Interestingly, 64.4% expressed their intention to vote for honest, unblemished candidates with proven track records of leading the country through crises, whereas 35.6% intended to vote for economically skilled candidates, even if they have some corruption.

Noteworthy is the trend of increasing support for the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party from July 2022 to February 2023. If today were an election day, support for the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party would have increased exponentially from 0.4% in July last year to 4.8% in January 2023, and further up to 9.4% in the latest February 2023 survey.

The Super Poll survey highlights strong public support for Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha based on his perceived honesty, integrity, and ability to navigate crises. There is a significant preference for honest, unblemished candidates, and a notable rise in support for the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party.

D**g Jiali, the little dessert master 🍨 Newly opened sweet shop I have to say it's cool. Use over 30 good ingredients to choose from. Plus it's not expensive. There is a wide variety of menus to choose from, which you can eat every day. The name of the shop comes from his daughter's name. which is in Chinese The first intention of opening the shop was I wanted to eat a cold dessert made with good ingredients like this, but it was difficult to find them, so I opened them myself. Every menu will be delicious. The various machines are mellow. The machines are almost all made by the shop itself.
The main menu will be cold dessert🍨 and shaved ice🍧 that uses only good ingredients. Most of the toppings are made in-house using a special recipe. There is a lot to choose from and there is an exotic menu that the shop has arranged for customers to order as they like or you can choose it yourself. 👉Price starts from 29 - 55 baht
