The weather has been SHOCKING which has meant I have been cooped up inside which on one hand drives me crazy and on another means I’ve been productive 🤗

From designing some potential merch, feature in newsletter, designing business cards for .nailartist, late night painting, sticker making, trend predicting and I also made jam 😂😂

Some street photography I took yesterday before I fell to my death 🤘🏻

I’m really enjoying taking photos of Edinburgh lately. There is something about capturing a photo of people taking photos that I’m into 😂 not sure why but I’m experimenting.

I would LOVE to do a street style Photoshoot one day so getting the practise in now 📸

Jen wanted something with illustrative drawings and imagery of their stunning sushi whilst aligning with the brand colour palette. I had so much fun drawing the cute little sushi's and bringing the concept to life. Thanks Jen!💙

XCC WEBSITE IS LIVE! 🖤

For nearly a year, I've had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with on their social media and building their website.

I've shaped the platform with one main objective – to offer freelance beauty professionals an all-encompassing hub for exploring the potential of XCC as a workspace, event venue, or masterclass destination.

It is always a pleasure working with Tammy and Bob and that's one more thing ticked off the to-do list 😉

Yesterday I visited the to see their brand new exhibition "Beyond the Little Black Dress” 🖤

I LOVED IT! It was a beautiful exhibit all about my favourite colour 🥹 and the power of the LBD. You can find archive pieces from plus newer pieces from designers .x and

✨💙WELCOME TO LUCY LAND 💙✨

I find it difficult to stick to a specific type of branding without wanting to change it which I used to give myself a hard time for.

I would get annoyed at myself for not being consistent enough. This is something I want to embrace with Lucy Land.

My ideas, style, appearance, interests and inspiration evolve all the time so why try sticking to one thing when my brain clearly doesn’t work like that 🧠

Instead of “changing” I want Lucy Land to grow with me. Nothing is permanent especially with creativity and I want my work to lead by this example.

I have learnt so much since going freelance at the beginning of the summer and I feel so lucky to be working with fantastic local businesses plus getting to work with my best pals and my family (the dream) 💕💕💕

Over the past 3/4 months I have been working with my mum, helping her brand identity and build a website for her new Genealogy business, Roots & Branches Ancestry💚💚I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed bringing her vision to life and learning more about my family history along the way.

We wanted the website to have original photography to give a more personal touch. I spent some time photographing old photo albums and newspaper cut outs that my mum had managed to keep, that had been past down through generations.

Some experimenting I have been doing with my sexy new iPad thanks to .thirsty 👽I gave myself the task of recreating the most popular designer handbags of 2022 to teach myself how to use procreate.

Capturing different textures within fabrics is one of my favourite things to draw (bit niche😅) but I really enjoyed putting these together.
