When you tell hubby you are feeling pulled in so many different directions and you need a break. He books a staycation the next day for just the two of us for the weekend. Thanks Babe! I really needed this. I feel so refreshed. We were acting as if we were on our honeymoon. 🥰

Although it may be a little shocking to parents that this happens, we can teach lessons to our children to change their behaviors. Lots of us have dreams of making a huge impact in our city and then taking on the world. We look at what others have and it pushes us to want more. Most of us don’t realize that you have to take care of HOME FIRST before you can really make a lasting impact. What’s the point of gaining all that you have if your home life isn’t happy/stable? Who are you trying to impress? It leaves you and your family empty and bitter. Remember true happiness starts at home. If there is no peace, the world will only see a shell of yourself.....Even if you are always smiling.

16 years ago when I met my husband, he proposed to me after 2 months of meeting and 1 month of dating. We knew it was right and he spoke those words to me. Since then we have never looked back because we knew we were in God’s will.
