When planning their advertising activities, retail companies are increasingly using digital formats such as shopping apps, digital flip catalogues and personalised couponing in addition to printed brochures.
The use of these digital alternatives is not only resource-friendly, but also makes it possible to personalise the advertising material in a targeted manner.

Alexander Kunkel, Managing Partner at retailsolutions group , reports in PT Magazine how innovative, pre-configured solutions such as the SAP add-on Promotion Planning & Calendar (PP&C) support retailers in visualising and controlling all promotions - printed and digital - end-to-end.

Recently IDC published its new ebook which examines the economic benefits that SAP and its solutions offer to its partners and emphasizes the strategies and competencies that partners use to ensure long-term customer success and generate positive business results.

The ebook draws on a global survey of more than 100 SAP partners. Florian Kraus one of our managing partners was interviewed for retailsolutions as one of 16 partners highlighted in the journal and drew special attention on the retail industry.

Valentine's Day is all about celebrating love, and what could be more suitable today than a story between a truly perfect match?

Once upon a time, there was an SAP solution nicknamed PMR, that felt incomplete in optimizing promotion planning activities for retail customers worldwide. It longed for a partner who could complement its capabilities and help it deliver the best results.
Luckily retailsolutions recognized how lonely poor PMR was and how much retailers needed an additional solution to get the most out of their promotions. So we did everything we could to develop a tool that enhances PMR, retailsolutions Promotion Planning & Calendar (PP&C) - it was love at first sight!

PP&C’s features, including its sexy calendar view for promotional activities, immediately caught PMR's eye and they quickly discovered how well they worked together.
From that day on and until today they make the perfect match – optimizing retailer’s promotion planning activities together. A powerful combination for retailers all over the world.

Following the sale of Globus Switzerland from the Migros Group, the company was challenged with completing the IT decoupling, which means transferring all former Migros IT systems to new service providers. Communication, coordination, and know-how were key attributes of retailsolutions in the project that led to the successful decoupling of 22 SAP systems of our customer "Magazine zum Globus AG".

Timber's mistress .zg works as a fleet manager at retailsolutions.
The two have been an inseparable team for 9 years.

Rescued from a Spanish killing station, Timber proves every day how grateful he is to have made it out alive.
In his spare time, he loves to herd rabbits and cats at home.

What Timber particularly likes about his job as an office dog is that he has his own basket with a drinking bowl and squeaky duck.

Timber always pays attention and keeps an eye on all his colleagues who come in.
However, he can be bribed with treats and then looks a bit friendlier. 😊
