Land Rover has revamped the Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque with a mild-hybrid powertrain, new multimedia and custom Autobiorgraphy trim.
The main acquisition of the updated Land Rover Discovery Sport and Evoque SUVs is a mild hybrid powertrain (MHEV) based on a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, complemented by a 48-volt starter generator and energy recovery system.

In the basic version of the D165, the output of the power plant is 163 hp. and 380 Nm of torque. By default, this SUV is front-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is available with an optional eight-speed automatic. D200 version with 204 hp output. and 430 Nm of torque is standardly equipped with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. With this powertrain, Land Rover Discovery Sport accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.6 seconds, Evoque in 7.9 seconds.

Land Rover says the redesigned D200 engine uses higher pressure injectors and low friction components. Due to this, the internal resistance was reduced by 17%, and the motor itself, due to the aluminum housing, became 2 kg lighter.
