These games, which are revamped versions of GTA Vice City, San Andreas, and GTA III, will be optimized for mobile devices. The Grand Theft Auto Trilogy, originally released in 2001, 2002, and 2004, respectively, has undergone remastering. The demographic breakdown revealed that 75 percent of the participants were male, while 25 percent were female. This underscores the growing recognition and financial viability of gaming as a legitimate career choice in India.

Tesla is reportedly prepared to invest up to $2 billion in establishing a factory in India if the government reduces the import duty on its vehicles to 15% for the initial two years of operations, as reported by the Economic Times. In August, Reuters had previously noted that India was working on a new electric vehicle (EV) policy, aiming to decrease import taxes to as low as 15%, as opposed to the current 100% for cars priced above $40,000 and 70% for others, contingent on a commitment to some local manufacturing.

According to the Economic Times, Tesla is willing to invest up to $500 million if the government approves the reduced duty for 12,000 vehicles, and up to $2 billion if the concession is for 30,000 vehicles. However, the government is said to be evaluating the feasibility of Tesla's $2 billion investment proposal while seeking to reduce the number of cars imported under the lower duty, in contrast to Tesla's proposal. As of now, Tesla and relevant government departments have not responded to requests for comment.

According to a report in New York Times, over 700 of OpenAI’s 770 employees signed a letter threatening to quit the company if Sam Altman isn’t reinstated. The employees, in the letter, added that Microsoft already has jobs for them. Interestingly, Mira Murati (who was made the interim CEO after Altman’s exit) and Ilya Sutskever (who played a major role in Altman’s ousting as CEO) have also signed the letter. Sutskever had recently said in a tweet that he regrets the role he played in Altman’s exit from OpenAI.

The letter, addressed to the Board of Directors, reads that the employees have developed “the best models and pushed the field to new frontiers.” The employees then add that their work on AI safety and governance “shapes global norms and the products they built are being used by millions across the world.”

Jio Satellite Communications Ltd and Eutelsat OneWeb have been granted the requisite licences to provide satellite internet services in India. Both companies hold the GMPCS (Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite) licence, alongside a pan-India ISP (Internet Service Provider) licence. As reported by the Financial Express, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) allocated ISP-A and a VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) licence to OneWeb on Wednesday. The report states that Jio secured the ISP licence in October.

Google launched its generative AI-infused Search Generative Experience (SGE) in the US earlier this year and expanded the AI search tool to India and Japan in August. Now, Google is expanding SGE to more than 120 new countries and territories, the search engine giant said in a blog post Wednesday. SGE is also getting support for four new languages along with a few new upgrades and features that make the AI-powered search tool more interactive.

Search Labs and SGE in English is rolling out to over 120 new countries and territories across the globe, including Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa, starting Wednesday, Google said in its blog post. During the Google vs Epic trial, Google confirmed it offered Epic Games $147 million to launch Fortnite on the Play Store. The deal, approved by Google’s VP of Play partnership was presented in 2018 and involved paying the video game maker over the total amount over three years.

Google seems to have made the offer to prevent popular game publishers like Blizzard, Netease, Valve and others from bypassing the Google Play Store. However, Epic Games did not accept the deal and launched Fortnite on its website, allowing the video game maker to directly sell V-Bucks and bypass Google’s Play Store commission.
